The Bible speaks about FORNICATION, sex outside of marriage. If a heterosexual priest has to remain celibate, just as a heterosexual lay person should not engage in sexual activity before marriage; than why should gays have different priviledges? Many gays will no doubt raise a stink over this particular priest. But they fail to realize that all the priests must live in celibacy and discipline.It is wrong for any individual to claim he or she has the right to have sex because of orientation.In a local church in my city, the organist and music director was found to be living with an individual,as lovers. The church demanded his resignation, Gay groups picketed the church, and condemned the church as bigoted. The church stood on the Word which says tht a relationship in sex outside of marriage is fornication.The gay music director, went to another city, and another denomination to do the same, and still has his lover.

Only when marriage is considered equally for both heterosexuals and homosexuals will your arguments hold any merit. Until then, you cannot use the "no sex before marriage" argument to condemn homosexuals who are denied this option.

I was going to say that...but you beat me to it.....unfortunately some people don't know the difference...or that child abuse horrifies homosexuals just as much as it horrifies heterosexuals.

One church supper a gay guest speaker brought his partner with him. My daughter, then experimenting with looking like a goth, spent the whole evening, chatting to the partner. It was so nice to know that a 15 year old could chat about music, with a middle aged man, and me know that he had no ulterior motive.

Then you are very ignorant of what a paedophile and a homosexual are. A paedophile is attracted to children....be they male or female....and seeks to have sexual relations with them.

A homosexual...male or female...is attracted to adult members of the same sex....and are not attracted to children.

I guess most paedophiles would like to be considered heterosexual....and the majority of them are...some married with families of their own. It is obvious that there will be a percentage of homosexuals who can be a paedophile, but this is not the norm.

I happen to be a heterosexual woman....and an educated one. I know the difference between heterosexual and homosexual.....and between those two and paedophilia! If you do not, then you cannot know very much at all.

All decent people would agree, that all religious people, male or female, who abuse children, should be prosecuted. They should not be treated differently. That is just plain common sense and decency.

Homosexuals have the same right to marry as do heterosexuals - to persons of the opposite sex.
It is a biological impossibility for persons of the same sex to mate.

I'm still waiting for the RCC to defrock its' deviate bishops? When is that going to happen, or is it only going to go after the little fish? Suppose there's a little extortion racket going on? Why is Law at the vatican? Why are known "bad" bishops still in their diocese? Why are the Archbishops and Cardinals protected?
