There is a reason it went thru the court system once already with all the evidence & no one is in prison for it. Seems like the family just isn't willing to move on until someone they want to pay for it does to make them feel batter. Yes, it's a very sad situation, but tryin to force a false charge on someone isn't gonna make the pain go away or change anything.

I don't think they are trying to push false charges on anyone. I feel like they know that something went wrong that night and someone that was there will eventually speak up if it comes down to them being charged with the crime. I know that sounds stupid but kids are more closed lipped when it comes to ratting someone out. They don't want the consequences of their "friends". They would rather just not say anything than to face the fact that their friends aren't really their friends and they are being used as a scape goat. I feel for the family. I really do. I don't ever want to be in that situation but I do know it must be tougher than words can express to live without a loved one and no one know why or even how. God Bless you all!!!

Well there is a reason it has already gone thru the court system & no one was charged. They interviewed everyone & interogated everyone of interest & nothing was ever found.

Because kids are too scared to speak up. Something went wrong that night. I can pretty much say that something sounds fishy about the students stories. And usually if something doesn't add up in a situation like this...it usually isn't the truth. If they get enough pressure put on them, someone will crack. I am waiting for that as well.

i agree 100% stranger.i believe it was investigated and found to be a accidental drowning. sounds to me like the family just wants to hang whoever to make themselves feel better about it. i remeber all the kids got lawyers before they talked to the police like they should of. i doubt another investigation is gonna turn anything up.

This is my point exactly. Everything was done right the first time, but the family has it in their head that their precious baby just could not have accidently killed himself & that certain people are responsible no matter what the hard evidence shows. Some people are just like that. Not sayin anythign at all bad about the family, so don't get me wrong. It's just some people don't know how to deal with things like this & once they get it in their mind someone is guilty they will nevere stop until their lust for their own comfort is satisfied and thats what is sad about this entire situation.

These kids are not a part of gangs and feel like they would be killed if a peer ratted on them. These were probably rich kids and I can't believe each and every kid that was out there would not bring out the truth. If you are saying that it means every kid has no consience. My belief that Jarrett died from his own hands. Every parent where their child has died was because of someone else that caused the death. I hope they do get the signatures and re-open the case. I want these parents to be completely satisfied in how their son died.I don't think they can go on with their lives without the investigation. If it was my son I would be doing the same thing.

You are correct about one thing tho..."The parents are bound and determined to find-out what happened that day." And not only his parents, but his family and friends as well. Are you familiar with the old saying,"Walk a mile in my shoes?" And slander isn't slander, if something is true and the truth will come out my friend. I pray nothing like this ever happens to you or your family. Jarret Clark's aunt, Ann
