Yesterday I saw an old friend from Oklahoma who told me what was happening to Shiloh Gentry (Brafford). I just looked on the internet and saw your story about her. In fact, I read all of the stories about her, and it amazes me that no one is taking the story from Shiloh's side and are only portraying the mother (and ex-husband and father) of the child who died in a sympathetic light.

I knew Shiloh for many years when I lived in Oklahoma and am, first of all amazed at all that has happened to her and second of all finding it very difficult believing her capable of deliberately hurting anyone much less a small child.

I myself lost three children plus my husband in a car wreck many years ago. I wouldn't have considered attacking or suing anyone for what happened. It was a tragedy, but I only wanted to comfort those who hit our car. But from what I was told, Shiloh has been severely attacked for over a year since this happened, and even though she has been acquitted twice for the crime, has now been imprisoned and had all of her children taken away from her --- even her newborn baby. And her husband who at first stuck by her side has now left her and come out against her.

I saw a movie awhile ago starring Sigourney Weaver about a woman who faced a similar "trial by neighborhood" like Shiloh has, called A Map of the World. It was such a nightmare! At least her husband stuck by her, though barely,(if I am recalling it correctly), and she was completely innocent.

I would hope that you or someone would look into the story from Shiloh's side. And I hope that Shiloh wins her jury trial and someone in Hollywood makes it into a movie one day so that others can see the injustice she has been shown.

A person's character shows through. How many children did she have, with how many baby-daddies? And she'd lost custody of them all before the youngest baby mentioned in this story was even born. That doesn't happen without a good reason.

No, I am not saying that every promiscuous woman is a killer. I'm not saying that every promiscuous woman is even a bad mother. But the state has determined that this woman is an unfit mother, and a stack of evidence points to her as the killer of a precious, innocent child.

This woman's defense attorney will be working hard to make sure she does not serve time, whether she is guilty or not, so don't worry about who is looking into the story on her side. He'll have that covered. Before you go hoping she wins her jury trial, why not let the trial play out and all the evidence come to light. Hope that the TRUTH wins, and that justice is served for the little boy who died... even if that means that your old friend spends her life in jail.

There is always another side to the story. I know both parents of little Davis. The weekend that that Davis died was Daniel's visitation with with Davis and his sister. So why did he leave his kids with with someone else for the whole day instead of spending it with his kids. I beleive that if I only got to see my kids once every two weeks I would be spending it with my kids and not at the golf course! Which is what he did. Shiloh was left to care for 5 kids two of whom were not hers. Daniel should share some of the blame for this. I always thought there was some thing wrong with Davis from the time he was an infant. He learned to crawl a long time before he could ever sit up on his own. And his arms were floppy.

I agree with you. I grew up with Shiloh...Literally grew up with her, her mom was my babysitter for years. I find it incredibly hard to believe that Shiloh could ever be capable of such a horrific act. She was always a nurturer, especially to my little sister. All I can say is Good Luck, Shiloh. You and Little Davis, and your other children are in my prayers.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Libra

An emotional situation is as clear as mud today. You aren't sure about your feelings for a certain someone, nor are you convinced that you know what they're playing at. They may be saying one thing and doing another, and you might even suspect that they're playing games with you or trying to get what they can out of the relationship. Or maybe you're imagining the whole thing? Admit it - at this stage you simply don't know.
