Sometimes when our children fall, they land outside of our reach and there is nothing we can do to help them.

This is one of those times.

I know this young man's Mom and Dad, and there is nothing they wouldn't have done to help him, if only they had been given the chance.

Hank, you should really attend a class that helps with how to overcome stalking. Stop being such a loser. Again I say, it's obvious I am not black. But if I were, it would be just fine because I would be as hot as beyonce.

Thank you Gate.... And I certainly hope that this intelligent comment reaches those who think they have all of the answers based on only what they see through their glass houses that have just been cleaned with expensive Windex.

God bless those parents. I couldn't imagine the pain they are going through. I hope that they had come to terms with the situation and maybe even realized that it wasn't in their power to do what they so badly wanted to do to help their son. I don't mean that in a bad way at all..... I am sure they are fine parents and are very good people. My condolences to them.:(

It's tough to know what is the best photo to use. Is it better if they're hittin' on ya, or hatin' on ya? ;-)

thought they said people on horseback originally found him. so i'm guessing someone was going back thru the trails...i remember there being a little creek and a pond or two back there.
and on the discussion, condolences to the family...regardless the situtation, losing someone is always rough...
Well, theres about 280 acres on the property that we could take our horses on. There were ponds and a creek ran to the east of this pasture between it and the neighborhood. Did it say where he was specifically? I was assuming in this pasture by the road.

Yes, my prayers and thoughts are with this family...

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Do you have nothing better to do than to read the news then search OSCN to see if you can be the first to discover what happened? Put your own little twist on things?! Josh Wilson was a wonder person and friend!! No family deserves to go through what the Wilsons have gone through. This is a public forum, but have a little respect for the family and friends.

Agreed!! Josh and his family are wonderful people and I love them all dearly. Josh will be missed every single day. Some of you people need to get your facts straight before you run your mouths! Public Forum or not, find somewhere else for your contamination.
My prayers continue for the Wilson family....RIP Josh! We love you!

Rude and heartless? Perhaps. Or maybe there are people who are just sick and tired of all of the problems that druggies cause, so when one expires, some folks aren't real heart broken over it. It is estimated that 60,000 children in Oklahoma are being raised by Grandparents because their parents are dead, in prison, or they have otherwise been remved from the home due to the parents' inability to care for them properly. Some estimate that 98% of all crime is driven by drugs.Obviously, IF this young man's death is proven to be drug related, it's another crime caused by drugs. The list goes on and on.
The article says police say there is no reason to believe there was foul play involved, at this time. Right. This fella was just walking around on someone else's remote pasture land and suddenly died. Uh-huh. Happens all the time. No foul play involved.
SkyKing- you truly are a very sheltered person, everyone is a drug addict. There's just just people in society who think they're not but there's Zero difference between a stay at home Mom with her xanex prescription and a a so-called drug addict. Society looks down at poor people who does drugs but someone driving their Lexus and a prescription for Loritabs for their so-called bad knee. I live on Brookside and I see very successful people doing cocaine every weekend but at the same time a well-fare person gets caught with crack and the CEO with cocaine was just partying but the poor person is a drug addict and criminal and doesn't deserve the same rights as others. You All need to wake up! Your sitting next to a drug addict at work I guarantee it. So don't look down on someone who is unfortunately hooked on drugs which was caused by your family physician prescribing too strong of medication. Your have to remember there isn't a drug addict in the world that wants to be addicted, they all wish they weren't. It's not just as easy as stopping. It is physically impossible to quit without medical help with withdrawals. What do you think they do at rehab. They sedate you for a week or two to help you get through the withdrawal and poor people can't afford to pay for a $5,000 dollar rehab which is about as cheap as you can find one.

Some of these comments are sick! To say that people dont really care when a "druggie" dies is just disgusting! Number ONE, not one of you have a clue if it was in fact drugs that played a part in his death, number TWO, even if it is who CARES! That doesnt change the fact that someones son, brother, friend and family member died. Regardless if someone is suffering from a drug addiction that does not give anyone the right to act as though their death is no big deal! And for the people who had so many negative things to say about "druggies" it will be really interesting to see what happens when it hits someone you love and care about. There was not one sentence in this article that said it was a drug related death, so quit assuming and dragging someones name through the mudd, when you have NO CLUE! Get a life and have some respect.

Eight years ago my son died at the age of 28 to an overdose of alcohol and hydrocodone. We are a good family. I taught school for 30 years. My other 2 children are now adults and have never touched drugs or alcohol. Reading these statements have proven my worst fears are true-my son will always be remembered for how he died, not for who he was in his spirit. He was a graduate in engineering from OSU. he had many many great friendswhi lived him dearly. He had a great job in Houston and was admired by many. I still am in deep grief and have no friends as I isolate myself wondering if there was more I could have done. My life is now filled with these tortured thoughts. Our family fell apart from grief. The sad thing was when the coroners report came back it was discovered he was born with a heart defect that caused his heart to fail the night he died. But that part will never get out to all who judged him from the beginning. I am devastated all over again by reading all these comments. I see now I will never truly get relief from this because there is cruelness everywhere. I feel sorry for his family. Their pain is only beginning. I pray they never see any of what was written here. Every one just needs to stop writing now. The anger shown by all is doing nothing for this poor family and other heartbroken lives.
