This guy might be innocent. The reason sicko's get away with this so long is simple. They appear to be almost too good to be true. They befriend all the 'right' people and then prey on the most vulnerable. The pollice need airtight cases and the DA's don't want egg on there faces. Children are notoriously unreliable and are further controlled by embarassed parent's who don't want their child to be the one to come forward. Let some other parent carry the burden of proof.
QUIT JUDGING THE VICTIMS!!! These guys are trying to network in order to dig out the truth. They should be helped, not ridiculed. They need to be in court and in touch with each other. If this is the guy, only they will be able to stop this monster.

Several questions need to asked and answered... Why does a 30-something year old male (when I first met Menna in the 1980's) hang around with young boys? Why would anyone attend Emory University in Atlanta, obtain a degree in dentistry, but never become licensed and practice? Does anyone else with such a degree mow lawns for a living, live at home with their parents into their 40's, and suddenly in 1997 leave Tucker, Georgia for parts unknown? Leaving so hurriedly that he had to call back and have his personal property liquidated for cash and the money sent to him. Is there a dad or a mom looking for him? Or are there police who would like to discuss certain matters with him? Why did he leave the U.S. for 7 years?

Several times in the past, I have personally heard him state that he was an "MD". He even offered to provide prescription medicines to people he was trying to impress. I know that he has falsified documentation to gain access to special groups and abused the trust of good people. Also, I know there are people -- parents -- in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee that would never allow him near young boys.

The interesting thing to me is that Menna thinks he is smarter than everyone else. He is intelligent, but also a sociopath.

Menna dated Sharon Traylor (an awesome lady and quite striking). When I asked her about her relationship with Menna, she was shocked that I did not know they were NOT an "item" rather it was just a coverup to let others think he liked girls. The deep darkness of all this is that Menna befriended this woman to connect with her son and I do not believe she ever knew it.

If you really want to know why Menna and his whole family left (like in 12 hours) from Atlanta, I could tell you but it is involved. As I understand it, Menna and family were all threatened with Murder. I along with 3-4 friends were stuck with the liquidation of all that he could not carry in his black Cadillac.

Menna showed up at our church in late 2006 or early 2007. Immediately became involved. Joined our Men's Ministry and began asking to get involved with taking our kids repelling, etc. Wanted to help with VBS and when was asked to submit to a background check he was gone. He mentioned he was an MD and talked about working with the secret service etc and that was why he could NOT do a background check.

It appears that the Judge bound Menna over on Cts 1,2,4 and 5. The court sustained a demur on ct 3. The case is set for next hearing 7-14-08 @ 1:00.

A few days ago we went to Walmart in the morning, me and my 5 children. While walking out my son who is 5 years old got a bad bloody nose. Standing in front of the store I told my twin girls to run in and get tissue. A man quickly came right up to us and said " a bloody nose, oh I can fix that! Wait one sec." By then my twins came out with paper towels. The man came back and got on his knee's in front of my son and said "I am a dentist so I know just what to do; I work with kids all the time doing this stuff". At that point I looked at him and realized who he was. Mr. Menna. I looked up and saw his mother sitting in the white car. They live in my neighborhood and I had been forwarded the article on his arrest therefore, was aware of what he looks like so I could warn my kids and keep clear.
He proceeded to put a piece of paper he wrapped up in my sons mouth under his top lip and told him to hold his nose a certain way...etc.
I fled as fast as I could.
I just became aware of this blog and my point is that Mr. Menna apparently is seeking any opportunity to get near youngsters. He is on a mission and doesn't care if it is at a church function, camp outting, with parents present? He has an issue in his heart that needs delivered!
We were at Walmart June 30th and you lied stating you were a dentist. This is not true! Lies always find you out.I have a huge feeling you are reading this blog.

I can't believe the number of people that believe just because there are charges against a person that they are automatically guilty. One of the charges has been dropped, the child and his parents refused to be a part of this lawsuit because the allegations are false. Anyone can write whatever they want on these blogs and others believe them to be true. Of course no news has been reported on this aspect, it is just too boring! Don't be so quick to judge.

I don't know if he is guilty or not. But I know I wouldn't trust him with my child. That is like playig with a loaded gun and wondering if u remembered to set the saftey. If I knew there were a possibility that someone had something like this hanging over them...there is no way I would let my child near them. It is better to be safe then sorry when it comes to your children....you don't get a second chance if a sick person comes by and steals thier innocents. So sad what the world has come to. If he is innocent, then I hope he can prove it and move on with his life. If he is guilty, I hope he gets all the punishment he deserves and then some!
