Broken Arrow Residents Steamed Over Water Bills

Some residents in Broken Arrow say their latest water bill has thrown them in the deep end.

My bill for 9/4/09 through 10/9/09 is for usage of 16900, whereas the previous month it was 4000 that was supposed to be an actual reading. I went out to read it myself today after opening my bill and calling the water dwpartment. I could not clearly read the numbers due to moisture under the lens of the meter, I will be calling them back tomorrow to get another reading.

Its long past due for a house cleaning at the City Hall, and City Yard. Place Live Video on the Web and you can watch the City "at-work." It would be like watching grass grow, or, watching paint dry, oops, my bad, as those two items there is some benefit. Does anyone remember in JAN or FEB 2009, when the City might have had to lay off 'employees,' that the 'City Hall Staffers" came up with the fix, which was to raise all of you "TAXES" so not a ONE of them would be laid-off, and the CC bought right into the whole mess and now YOU all pay more for the same bunch of idiots who cant even do basic accounting, unless it is regarding their own personal paychecks. I wonder how many of the employees of the city actually live in the city? There are A LOT of pending Lawsuits and Criminal Actions PENDING against BA, you folks don't even know 1/10 of what is going on in BA. In Tulsa, you can see on TV the City Councilors seriously debate and even argue different points and views for many issues, where the BA City Council and Mayor are nothing but a big rubber stamp for whatever a few 'key' employees of the city direct - well, maybe not all of the time, but a lot, way, way, too much!!!
As for a SIMPLE WATER BILLING SYSTEM, how could ANYONE screw this up so much. If this was a PRIVATE COMPANY, most everyone involved would have already been fired long ago, but NOT in the City of BA, all you have to do is to 'CLAIM' that "were doing our best."
JUST BE VERY THANKFUL THAT THESE PEOPLE DID NOT GO INTO THE HEALTH CARE PROFESSION, OTHERWISE, MANY OF YOU WOULD BE DEAD BY THEIR HANDS OR ACTIONS, WHILE THEY SAY AND CLAIM THAT - "WE DO OUR BEST."
