Sure is boring, what do you do for fun. I'm tired of just sitting around especially when your man is an ass. It sucks.

I usually go out of town to have fun. I have only lived here for a few months and not found a dang thing to do here. I like to head to London, Danville, Somerset, Berea, Richmond or any place that I can ghost hunt or find old places to explore. As soon as the weather gets warmer and it drys up a bit I will be out hiking and looking for waterfalls.

Here in Brodhead I have been staying home and not doing much but playing online, reading, sewing and starting my plants for the garden.

We need a place close by that we all can meet at and shoot the breeze and hang out.

Make Brodhead Mayor put in for a Community Center. Something Brodhead has never had. A good place for women to meet to have Birthday parties, yard sale inside, etc... Wait, didn't they build one of those right across from the ball field at the fairgrounds. It's on the left when you go to the apartments. What's that building used for. If it is a Community Center is should be used for the young and the elderly.

Hey Patricia is it seriously a community center that isn't being used? Since I am pretty new in this area I still have no idea what all is around here. If it is a community center or just a vacant building that the town owns maybe we need a representative to go and talk to the Mayor and see what can be done. Heck I don't even know who the Mayor of Brodhead is or where to find him, but I am willing to learn and not afraid to speak openly about something that is important to not just me, but to other people.

Give me some information and I will see what I can pull up.

There used to be a couple of game halls in Broadhead, back when I used to live there in 96 or 97. There used to be all kinds of things to do, like swimming at fallen rock. I think there used to be a community center too but I'm not sure, I never went to it if there was.

Why are so many buildings on Main St empty? There are some nice buildings there that would be great for some nice quaint shops.

The last time I was there, I had to get gas before I came home and there was only 1 station open in Broadhead but they were out of gas. Some of my family that lives out there were telling me about a highway or something coming through and that a bunch of houses were being torn down to make room for it. It sucks to see a town die like that, the one I live in now is no better. Factories and stores closing every day.

I remember those good days in Brodhead too with the pool hall and such, unfortunately this shit hole town is only going to get worse
