Rumor: Christo's Closing

I heard a rumor the other day that Christo's was going to be closing. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, what is the date?

christos was once a great place to have dinner way back in the 70s as a child i remeber going to get a great pizza and an awsom salad. i no longer live in massachusetts i now live in oregon where a bunch of us brocktonians seem to have moved to we started a brocktonian club the locals just dont seem to get it they are naturally very slow here. this is very sad news to hear that christos is closeing. i take it the old man must have passed away

I agree. They use fake mash potatoes! I have to say, though, they do have the BEST greek pizza I've ever tasted. If anyone knows another place that makes it that way, please let me know.

greek pizza is the best. Try Cape Cod Cafe in Brockton, Raynham, MA; Town Spa in Stoughton or the Linwood in Randolph.
Small, crispy and tasty!

I agree with congobar as far as pizza goes. Town Spa in Stoughton is great. Another great spot is Chessman's in the center of Bridgewater. Try their Meat Lovers. It's got every type of meat on it and it tastes great. Just don't eat too much or you'll need a cardiologist.

Chessman's is good. Al's pizza on the boardwalk at Hampton Beach has good pizza.

Mama Leones on Broadway in Somerville has good Sicilian pizza and nobody makes better subs than they do. They use the best cold cuts, with all the extras. Probably make the best eggplant parmigian, haven't had better.

Christos pizza has gone downhill. It's too dry. Used to be really good.

Christos was to be purchased by the XO from quincy center. the deal was all done and at the last minute, the family changed their mind. XO then went to stoughton and bought the old anthony's and is now open and operating over there. XO sold their old location to Alcapulco's
