Good News. I hope this trustee helps the library. I dont think the river grove library has been doing too well for many years. It has been neglected. I think new blood on the board will hopefully rejuvenate this important resource that River Grove has. A good library reflects the interest that the village has for its residents and its future.

Yippee.. Maybe this trustee is in touch with people. It didnt seem the other trustees were in touch with what the public was interested in or needed. I hope they open the library on sundays during the school year. If they cant afford, why not shorten hours during the week so sunday can open. Not many people visit library wed or friday a.m. I hope she considers this suggestion. There is no place for teens to go and study on sundays.

Please, Please can you get the other trustees up to speed on what the community wants and needs. they are out of touch with the community. Yes.. please have the library open on Sundays. Also could you get some real librarians instead of clerks who do not know how to help anyone with anything. Thanks..Good Luck.

it would be nice if there were more programs for the public.. like the computer tutorials. They offer them but not at convenient times.

Good news... yes.. definitely .. get a bigger space, open on Sundays and new books. Some of those books look outdated.

Yes.. what happened to the new library that everyone was talkikng about a while back ago.? Just a little more space or more tables, more books and definitely open on Sundays during school year would help. There certainly is a need. I think residents stopped going to the library for a while because it seemed outdated. No new books or materials. Now it has the latest computers and seem to have new books.. so at least that is a start.
