I have to say I thought the comments would be a bit more nasty today. Glad to see they haven't been. Now it is no longer a republican vs. democrat battle. We have the president we have and nothing we can do to change it. We all need to remember we are "the people" and we need to start ensuring that the man elected into office, even if we did not vote for him, is accountable to us. We need to ensure that all of our fellow citizens keep working with the checks and balance system that we have to try to strengthen our country. Let's not tear each other down but build our country up as a group banned together with the nations best interest at heart.

After saying this I feel I have just wasted my time. Anyone care to prove me wrong?

You will live to regret your vote. American is now in a spiraling decline to being a third world country and your vote has helped. First will be more job loss, increased inflation, then more hunger to top things off. The whole world has lost with Obamas re-election. Socialism is going to be the new American way of life. You forgot to mention that the crime will increase. Also don't forget that China will play a role in our future. They will not always let us just pay the interest on their loan. One day they WILL call in the debt. They are just sitting back now quitely waiting until we dig deeper into debt to them.
