PERTH -Four young people were injured when they were ejected from the bed of the truck they were riding in on McQueen Road at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Fulton County sheriff's deputies reported.

Deputies said pickup truck driver Jonathan P. Gonzales, 20, of 584 Route 29A, Gloversville, was ticketed on charges of failure to keep right and imprudent speed.

The four passengers who were ejected are: Mason Pitkin, 19, Travis Collier, 17, Kyle Burton, 18, and John Ethorp, 20. Burton and Ethorp were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, deputies said.

Deputies said Gonzales was southbound on McQueen Road, south of Noonan Road, and was going around a curve when he lost control of his truck due to excessive speed. The vehicle overturned.
