Yep - you like to run away from the problems and let the criminals do as they please - you won't sing that song when the GANGS and THUGS shoot up a city - it could be YOURS.
I don't live around gang or thugs now that I get to choose where I live.

You can keep them all for yourself.

Have fun dueling it out with them. Hope your life insurance is up to date!

Careful what you say = they can be in your city tomorrow. If they know you have no way to protect yourself - they will be there sooner than later.

You find it OK to run from the problems and I feel I need to stay and take care of the problems. Guess that is the difference in being an adult.

What makes you think we can't protect ourselves? I have all sorts of guns.

If you want to live in the middle of a gang war, that's your choice.

Today you have guns - tomorrow you will have base ball bats when the new gun laws take them away.

Check out the United Nations on gun control. Obama wants America to take an active part.

Nope, no laws pending in Michigan to take any guns away. Just more scary rhetoric from the gun-nutters.

The guy who sold the car to the drunk, is then really responsible. Impossible to have a DUI without a vehicle. So, technically, you need to go after the bullet company. A gun without ammo is just a club. Common sense dictates the drunk driver or the murderer is responsible. Not progressively speaking of course.
This is not how LIABILITY works Rusty. If you willingly and knowingly contribute to an individuals death by continuing to serve alcohol to the individual even after the individual has reached the legal limit, then you are just as responsible for that death as the individual who actually did the killing. The store referred to here did not lose it's license because they sold a gun to Adam Lanza or his mother. They lost their license because they were so neglectful with their inventory. They had no clue at any given time where there guns were. Employees took them from the shop for god knows what reasons. Such negligence equates to that of a Bar Owner over selling to a patron.

Probably should outlaw guns and alcohol.
