Evidently at 82, he was driving thru more than one kind of fog.

One should know how far from home they are, if the mileage exceeds reason, fog or no fog, STOP, cause otherwise you're going away from home again.

That Liquid Fog will get you lost and I'm the living proof. Many times in the past I've been lost in a haze.

I hate to admit this, but something similar happened to me. I was young, the fog was thick, I miss my turn and I ended up in downtown Atlanta. By the time I got turned back in the right direction I was 40 miles from home and crying like a baby, lol.

Maybe his wife was nagging him. Sometimes I think about taking a 300 mile trip and not coming back.

Lost in a fog is a pretty accurate way to describe him.
