BTW i play at Amvets and interstate on euclid ave. and at st. anns in bristol. st. anns is my fav because i know everything there is on the up and up. since interstate made some employee changes i like it a lot better and usually go to both sessions on the weekends. i haven't been to amvets in about 5 months because i just didn't like some of the things i was seeing. not to mention some of the things i heard. can't say there is cheating there but it would not shock me to find out there is.

oh and the last few times the bingo commisioner was there all he did was stay behind the counter. why don't they have people go play in these places and report back to them?

I have saw stuff with the tips and the regular bingo at amvets,so I don't play there anymore. Interstate I usually like, but something happen this weekend that wasn't right... a lady won a tip that you pick 1 of three boards for the jack pot of 5000.00 she picked the second board which was 2 picks to get jack pot. She got it on 2nd pick, and they only give her half of money. That was very wrong. But I think it is ok on regular bingo. At amvets one of there workers not playing always wins last biggest tip, wonder if anyone has made them show board to prove it. Also wonder about the back room computer, is it hooked in with bingo machine computer Hummmmmm........different people won when rick was out of town and not sitting in back room.

at interstate that is the way it works. everybody know that. you get to pick which board you want to choose from. and you never get more than one pick for the big money. i believe the tip games and the bingo games at interstate is on the up and up. i've hit the big money on a few of the tip games there myself and i know for a fact it was just my own dumb luck!
you get to pick one time or three times depending on which board you choose. i chose the one where i got to pick 3 times. i knew if i didn't get it on the first try i could pick again for half that ammount and again for half of the half. all thats fair.

don't know about the back room computer at amvets. i do know there's no way to control the way the balls boucnce around and get sucked up the tube. when i used to go there a lot i always sat where i could see the caller and the machine. i've seen how they bounce around so nobody can control that. as far as the tip games go you are 100% correct. the one worker that plays when she doesn't work always wins the biggest tip or the biggest prize. and another one of the workers always goes to the bathroom while selling tips and usually one of two certain people win. thats been going on for a few years. i know for a fact that people have complained but like with this new worker nothing ever happens.
there is a tip machine at amvets now that doesn't have tip numbers. it's all instants. that would be the only thing i play if i go back. on the dollar tips there are 4 $500.00 winners in each one and i have hit the big one 3 or 4 times so i know they are there.

also....a few of us did start wondering if 2 or 3 people even payed to play AND if their computers were loaded with more cards than everybody else's. i think theres supposed to be 30-35 cards on each one but they can probably load as many as they want on certain ones. personally, i think the bingo commisioner needs to send people in there to play and not just show up himself. they all know who he is so of course nothing goes on when he's there.

I heard one of the girls that sells tipps at mikes downtown halves with some of the people that win down there......I know about all the tipps are won on her side of the room where she sells, also saw someone give her money that won a tipp and she thanked them for it. Didn't think people were aloud to take money for themselves if they work there

they workers are allowed to accept a tip no matter if it's from a tip board win or a bingo game. i once saw a lady give the caller a 20.00 tip after winning a jackpot at amvets.
it it the one thing i wish i had never sarted doing. i took it that it was kind of a waitress/waiter kind of thing. i usually don't mind tipping but when you don't tip you get talked about like a dog from some. and theres some that will stand there and hole their hand out for a tip or say something like dont forget who gave you that winner.
at st. anns people usually don't tip. they are all volunteers and they don't expect it. at interstate there used to be a girl that worked there that would actually hold her hand out. she just plays now and theres another one that works there that makes remarks about tips. the only time i buy tips at interstate is when jackie, sue or cheryl are the ones selling them. they don't stand around with their hands out and i usually have to call them back to give them a tip because they will pay and walk away so fast you don't get a chance to tip them right away.
at amvets i just stopped buying them alltogether and then i just stopped going there. since st. anns started playing on mondays you don't see many cars at amvets on mondays. a few weeks ago i drove by on monday night and bingo had already started and there was maybe 25 cars in the lot.

BTW, i think i know who you are talking about at mikes. does she have long hair and act like she's something great to look at? i will buy them at mikes but i buy them before bingo starts and i usually get in the line for the other lady. i don't think they cheat down there and they do post the boards so you can see them.
i do know that a few weeks ago a regular at amvets asked to see the board after the last big win. i heard it really got the girl selling tips pissed off but she tried to hide it until they left.

maybe when they loose enough business they will see that arranging for one person to win the biggest prize all the time is really costing them more than she's probably worth.

i wouldn't stop playing just because of a few bad eggs. i play at st annes and interstate just because i know what they support. im sure amvets and the moose all support something i just dont know what it is. st annes goes for the school and church, interstate for the speech and hearing center. i know first hand the services provided by the speech and hearing are good. my grandson goes there for speech therpy he has done so well in school since going and the other children no longer make fun of the way he talks. all bingo halls have there gossip, and thats what most of it is, gossip. you just have to decide if youre willing to ingore it and have a good time, support a good cause and hopefully win.

You're right Grammy. they all do have gossip. that's the problem. you never know what to believe. I know for a fact that st. anns and interstate are fair. they don't play favorites and it's not the same people winning the same things over and over.
the bingo commisioner once told a friend of mine that st. anns is the one bingo hall in the whole state that he gets the least complaints on.

unless i see things for myself i try not to believe them of course some things are hard to ingore. i've heard more than i've seen but have seen a few things at amvets (reason i don't go there anymore). i do know what you mean about the employee change at interstate, good move. i think all the workers there are good people and honest can't say the same for amvets. i've seen the workers at interstate help people go thru trash cans to find a unclaimed tip, don't think i've ever seen that at amvets or anywhere else for that matter.

I would love to show you anything you want to see at Amvets, back room, any computers, tip boards or absolutely anything, even bring the Inspector with you. I challenge you or anyone to check us out.
We have had our share of grief from badmouth people but NO ONE has come to me about any of these things. I WELCOME YOU OR ANYONE ELSE, NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

If anyone wants to see a board, we (by law) keep them 90days. I will show you anything you want.
