Va's Boucher explains vote against health bill - WTKR

Rep. Rick Boucher says he voted against health care legislation because of concerns about a government insurance option and Medicare reimbursement disparities.

Thank you Mr. Boucher for voting against the health care bill that is totally wrong for Americans. Thank you for your courage not to vote in lock step just because Pelosi and Obama want you to.

I hope things change. After all, this insurance is for people who cannot afford health insurance. And what about doctors who cheat Medicare. I've had 3 doctors who diagnosed me incorrectly. I had one of them diagnosis checked from other doctors who did not find anything wrong. And the doctor must diagnose you w/something or Medicare will NOT pay. I used to work in hospsital insurance...and that's the way it is.

Because you have had trouble with a couple of Doctors you think the Government ran health plan that will finish breaking our economy is the answer? Come on people, educate yourself. Read the bill and see if this is what will fix anything.
Let's consider the constitutionality of it as well. The government is attempting to force everyone to buy insurance. Where in the world do they get that power? Have we turned over our rights to a sitting President and Congress? How about tort reform? How about competition and capitalism?
