I was just posting to see if anyone out there working for Sprint had any tips for me. For the past year, I have been relentlessly trying to get on, and I seem to be getting auto-denied repeatedly. I will apply, and hours later have a denial on the job submission page, so I'm assuming no one ever even reads my resume. I have call center and customer service experience, and a good work history. Any tips or tricks for me? I really want this job.

Do you meet the requirements that are posted for the job you are applying for?

Don't feel bad about not getting a return call from them. It's a horrible place to work for and any tiny mistake and they will fire you. I was let go from Sprint for basically no reason and I know at least 5 others that have been let go for little to no reason at all. The hourly pay for a call center is good and they have good benefits but honestly its not worth the drama to work there. Especially when you can be fired at any moment with no warning.

Everyone has their own story on work. After being diagnosed with cancer and being off work for 4 and a half months with not one word being said to me made me look at my job alot different. I had only been with Sprint one year when I had to take off with my Dads cancer while out with him I was also diagnosed with cancer. We were in Nashville getting treatment and surgery so I had to take 12 weeks FMLA then as soon as that ended I had to take 6 weeks Short term. Sprint was wonderful through it all. I now appreciate my job and the benefits. As with any cust. service job it can be stressful but at the end of the night not one of my calls can compare to what I have went through the last year so I keep smiling and loving my job. Keep trying and make sure you are going through the sprint.com/callcenter website to apply. Good luck.

I work at Sprint it is a very stressful job always finding reasons to fire you and threatening you with your job. Making you feel that you are not good enough

It is a horrible place to work. During training it is great and they make it sound like there will be plenty of chances for you to make handle time, but what they don't tell you is that you will be on the floor and need help and can't find it. They claim there is always someone there to help you and that your call time will be what you need to keep your job, but that doesn't really happen. They make you feel like an idiot and if after a month on the floor you are not making that call time, you are out the door. The pay is good and the benefits are great, but the stress of maybe loosing your job every day is not worth it.

Exactly! I was only their seven weeks. Only on the floor for two weeks before I got canned due to a bull shit reason. The real reason why my handle time wasn't very good but I couldn't help that with the type of calls I got. When you are hired they tell you how great it is and how much time you have to make handle time and how its hard to fail a call etc... It's all lies and honestly almost everybody I knew that worked there has either been fired or quit. Awful awful call center to work for, I highly recommend against anybody working for the Sprint call center in this area!

It just expanded and moved Jimbo. The building in Bristol had became too small for them. They were moving to a much larger and updated location in Blountville, TN. I guess they've moved by now.
