Has anyone heard about the feud between Sarah Palin and David Letterman? Letterman made a joke about her having a slutty flight attendant look and also make a crude joke about her older daughter Bristol getting knocked up by some baseball player. Palin is furious and will not let it go and has been on television everyday. She even had the nerve to call Letterman a predator who should not be around children. First of all the joke about her looking like a slutty flight attendant is no big deal. She is good looking and became somewhat of a sex symbol however jokes should not be made about her daughter. But frankly Bristol is not innocent like her mom portrays her to be and people tend to make fun of young girls getting knocked up. As a woman I don't feel Letterman should apologize to the women of america like Palin wants him to. He has already apologized to to the Palin family. Sarah Palin is truly vile and is trying to destroy the career and reputation of a man who has been on tv. for 30 years so she can be in the spotlight. She is the one using her daughter and if I were her I would be much more embarrased about the comedians and news media who call her as dumb as a box of rocks. Sarah you need to look up Africa on a map.

It DOES extend to their families when the Palin's used their children as campaign issues and let them make public appearances on the campaign trail. Kind of odd for the preganant and UNMARRIED Bristol to be standing their while Plain droned on about "family values." The sam as she accuse Obama of "palling around with terrorists" while Palin's own husabnd was a former member of the AIP, which actually advovated TERRORISM!! They just hypocrites!!

I respectfully disagree. I think that Sarah Palin's parenting skills perhaps can be questioned, but the minor children are NOT in the public eye by their choosing and shouldn't be included - no matter the political affiliation.

It's part of our basic liberties to be able to criticize public figures, but the kids should be left out of it.

Obama's mother was 19 years old and in college when she got pregnant in 1960. That is where she met Obama Senior so she was young but of age. Sarah Palin is white trash and only uneducated people like her. Well educated people think she is a joke. Palin is using her daughter and letterman to further her popularity with the republican base. She really cares about her daughter doesn't she? She also is not a friend to animals which as an animal lover I find disturbing. Why is it everytime a female does not like Palin people say they must be jealous. I see better looking people than Palin everyday. I work with a beautiful woman and I'm not bad looking myself! I don't like her because she sets back the women's movement 50 years. She is George W. Bush in a dress. Are there any republicans that still exist that don't live in a double wide trailer and like larry the cable guy, country music, hunting, wal-mart and think George Bush is smart. Sarah Plain is a laughing stock to people that care about america. She is not intelligent enough to be vp. let alone president! The interviews she did with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric prove she is not in the league with the big boys. The vp debate against Joe Biden was embarrasing for Palin who actually passed on 4 questions and kept going back to talk about energy apparently the only thing she knew about. The people in this area loved her and could care less about her lack of knowledge she was prett. However when I went to visit relatives in Knoxville most people laughed at her. Knoxville is so much more cultured and diversed than here. Letterman was wrong for the joke and Plain was equally wrong for making it an issue at the expense of her daughter. By the way I am a republican but refused to vote for Mcain and Palin. Obama itleast is highly intellectual you betcha!

I agree---i am an independent, and i did vote for Obama even though he was not my first choice. But given the choice between Obama on one side and the flipflopper McCin and airheaded Palin on the other--it was not a hard decision.

I was not aware anyone was jealous of Palin. She is so clueless on everything, including what the VP job actually entailed!!Hillary has a law degree and was a successful attorney. Palin took 6 years and 4 colleges to even get an ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE!
