I HATE BVU! They are already so expensive that you cant hardly pay them and now they are raising prices again!!! And I can't stand Wes Rosenbalm, the CEO!!! He tries to act all Christian but we went to Church with him and he would't even speak when he passed you. He would walk around with his head held high like he is better than everyone!

Are you kidding? utility rates around here are incredibly low compared to almost anywhere nationally. Look to see what one kilowatt hour costs around the country.

Maybe he didn't talk to you for a reason, Christian or not.

They're actually dramatically higher than Richmond and most of central VA. I'm home visiting my mother and I live in Richmond now. My electric bill is drastically lower than hers.

Your electric bill being lower than your mother's does not make BVU rates "dramatically higher" than Richmond. Perhaps your residence in Richmond is smaller, or perhaps better insulated. Maybe she runs more appliances or keeps her home at a colder temperature in the summer and warmer in the winter. Is your water and sewer included in your electric bill like they are through BVU (for me at least)? Is your hot water heater powered by gas or electric? There are far too many variables to say that simply because your mom pays more than you that all the rates here are higher.

I'm not exactly sure what the cost per kilowatt hour is by locality in virginia, but we are lower than the nationwide average. Virginia comes in at 9.84 cents per kilowatt hour for residential power while the nationwide average is 11.2. Move to Hawaii and prepare to pay 31 cents per kilowatt hour or connecticut and pay over 17.

We've been pleased with BVU thus far. It's nice to have all of our bills consolidated into one and the rate has been less than the Washington County service authority when we lived in the county.

Well what did you expect to happen when Wesley's butt hole buddies Boucher and Wampler could no longer push the dirty money his way to pay for the beloved OPTInet? They are so far in the red that they will probably go bankrupt in 5 years or less.

I have heard that Optinet is going bankrupt and Wes Rosenbalm is funneling money from power and water bills to keep it afloat. The Board Members need to wake up and fire his arrogant ass before the whole thing goes down the tubes because of Rosenbalm's incompetence.
He doesn't have time to make good decisions because he is always too busy feeding his ego, acting better than everybody, etc.
He pretends to be a good Christian but he is an arrogant hypocrite who most likely is incompetent to perform his job.

Rumors have it that the board is crooked too. How did Rectors son get ajob there making from what I heard a lot of money and his job was just created. Board members are not suppose to have family working there. If I am wrong correct me.
