I applied for the cooling assistance and was approved. Im wondering how long will it take to recieve the check to pay my bill?

I remember growing up we had no central ac, just box fans.$20 at walmart. Should be the extent of "cooling assistance".

The government wants the people to depend upon them for everything. They would like to be able to control every thing that each person does. It's called Complete Obama Care.

the dss soes not send you a check to pay your electric bill. they send the amount you are approved for directly to AEP. just found out the amount is only up to $250.00 this year, compared to last year the amount was up to $600.00. hope this helps.

seems like Curious is ready to go shopping!!! CTFU, the gvnmt isnt gonna let you HAVE the money. it only goes in your account for the bill....SMDH, free loaders!!!!!!!!!

Where I'm from they do send checks straight to the people who apply for assistance.. I have never received assistance a day in my life for my utilities, I think they should send it directly to the electric company , because you know the people don't go hand the free money right over for the electric bill, they go spend it on what ever they want...
