mr cashwell showed his igorance about what he put in sun. papers. why did he do that? a few knew about the feud but be thankful that both businessmen are pushing for the pinnacle and the falls. that was not too professional for him to say what he did about mr steve johnson. and he is actually the city manager? i am grateful for both of the endeavors but mr cashwell you seem to let your jealousy show and put it in the paper for every one to see. shows what a professional you are.

its not right that publicly traded companies should get taxpayer help to expand let the stock holders of these stores foot the bill just like the little merchant does if he wants to expand

It is clear that Mr. Cashwell has gotten his way so far but the means he has used to obtain his goal are clearly undefined. First is his displacement of over 100 families. Second is his forcing the city into a twenty five million dollar debt.....for starters. This only includes the purchase of property. The development of this property will include an additional 200 million or more. Sadly many of the local tax payers do not comprehend this and have rooted for the upcoming four year development. Some of this includes the destruction of an entire mini-mountain. A full reconstruction of a residential roadway. The decline of yet more small time businesses and the construction of many buildings on a fault line of sink holes. I will continue to contest this development. People of Bristol. Your taxes were raised before this development to make it appear that the city asks nothing of you. Be patient. They want more. They mean to have it. And like so many. Our city will be bankrupt.

Seriously? People are losing their homes, they are changing beautiful landscape into concrete, we as a city are going into debt to become more of a "tourist trap"and turning this entire area into a complete cluster and all you can say is "but look at the great shopping we will have." What a joke.

Between exit 5 and 7 there is one nice home and a trailer park. Our city and region is glorious and I am all for preserving its history and beauty. However, anyone who knows the area can attest this is not a "beautiful landscape" area. Anything between Blevins Tire and Pals is an eyesore and a waste of space. Just because the sign says a good place to live doesn't mean we shouldn't want a great place to live.

one hundred percent all the industry is leaving the industrial park in washington county so now thats more jobs to look towards and cabalas pays just as good as the old factories! Thank you Bristol!
