Yes...the point is well taken and that was very well put. The overlooked part is where all the tax money comes from to provide entitlements for those undesercing of them. Let me be clear. I'm FOR social services for the sick, the elderly, and the single moms. I'm NOT for social services for everyone just because they make their own shitty decisions that keep them unemployed or uninsured, or unhoused.<quoted text> I think you are making the point others are trying to get you to see. The contractors build with lumber supplied by a company which gets it from a lumber mill which gets it from a logger. The teacher teasches out of books that a company printed, which use the paper from a company that buys from a paper mill, which gets wood from other companys. Teachers also teach in a building that is built by contractors, which buy products from many different places to build. The list keeps going and going. Now can you see we are all in this together?
The Gov doesn't need to spend tax money to help piss poor pathetic individuals. The Gov needs to regulate the CURRENT money to the correct people. More taxes will NOT balance the problem.
People are responsible for themsleves. Some need help....I'm all for it. But having social healthcare and welfare for EVERYONE cannot be afforded. And you certainly cannot legislate wealth.
Its funny that the people who demand the most contribute the least...if at all.
