Doubt God will punish him for standing up for family values. The 3% are so worried about their rights but what about the those of us that don't want to be around homosexuality or even hear about. I honestly do care if someone wants to be gay it's their life. But I don't have to agree with it, support it or vote for it.

The man founded a business on his beliefs, that was his right. If he wants to donate his money to the Santa Claus foundation it his money to do with as he pleases. If the homosexuals get donations from whomever you don't hear anybody crying about that.

Nobody owes a homosexual a single thing if you pick the life style you deal with what comes with it. It is no different than a drug addict or a criminal. You made the choices that have you where you are so deal with it.

It is my right to go to church and beleive in whatever I see fit. My choice to raise my kids with the same Christian Values I was raised with. I don't hate or judge anyone but I sure will not be told what I will accept. Homosexuality is wrong and my book and that's that!!!

Do you know what homosexual's and all those who participated in Chick fil a appreciation day have in common? Nobody made them buy a chicken sandwich! They know my belief on this and we agree to disagree I don't judge them or dress them down when I am around them. Cathy did not say he hated gays, and I have yet to hear one homosexual's story of being denied service at a Chik-Fil-A store. What he did say is he is opposed to gay marriage, as are the majority of the people in this country.

In the VAST MAJORITY of cases, when same sex marriage had been put to popular vote it has been defeated at the polls. Does that mean that all those people hate gays? Definitely not. Like me, many people believe that what you do behind closed doors is your business, and your business alone, unless you start to infringe upon the rights of others.

The problem here is homosexuals want to take something that is a choice, which is having a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex, and turn it into the same type of protected class as things people cannot choose, such as age, race, and gender. Sorry, even if you are gay, you can choose to remain celibate. Unless you are Michael Jackson you can't change your skin color, you can't change your age, and while you can change what hangs, or doesn't hang between your legs, that doesn't change what you were born as.

The same arguments homosexuals use to support their lifestyle can be used to support other, more sinister sexual orientations also. For example, in nature, Black Widows kill their mate after procreation, is it okay for humans to do that since it occurs in nature? My dog occassionally tries to hump my leg, it is okay for people to have sex with their pets?

have no problems with ones beliefs. just a problem with the ones who say they were there to support family values. after watching the news and several other videos of those there. i knew several who were on their second and third marriage. one who was there with his children and who actually cheated on his wife while she was pregnate. others who couldnt even quote the "scripture" correctly for the reason why they were there. i was just a means for so many to show up and be seen or known as hypocrits. but this is exactly the type of people who showed up. probably 9 out of 10 of those in attendence that day were exactly that type. you know the ones who show up in church on sunday just to be seen and to let people think they are living right. you know who you are. but im still sure chick fil a thanks you for padding their pockets.

The whole thing was ridiculous and way overblown. Both sides were proven to be full of nuts. How much did either side accomplish by either boycotting or supporting the place? Not much, I can tell you that. But making a statement seems to be all that matters nowadays, I guess.
