What do you all want to talk about?
old TV shows?
First time experiences?
movies/music?
what do you like?
what do you hate?
favorites?
hobbies?

Yes, it was CCR. My brother had that album. Those lyrics, along with many others, are on a list somewhere of misheard lyrics. I think that Louie, Louie is also on that list. I always thought that it had bad lyrics in that song.

I once asked my mother what she thought was the greatest invention in her lifetime, she was born in '32...She didn't miss a beat when she said, the polio vaccine. I never realized what a horror that disease was for parents in the 40's & 50's.
Mom told me she was terrified to think one of her kids could end up crippled or in an iron lung...
can you imagine?

Well Hi there Marley!
How was your day?
What have you been up to?

Oh Thanks for asking!
I was playing with some other kids for awhile but I think they ditched me.

How about thoughtful sentiments?

A real friend is one who helps us to think our noblest thoughts,
put forth our best efforts,
and to be our best selves.

Geez! It's a tough room here tonight!

I couldn't score here tonight if I was in a monkey hoe house with a bunch of bananas!

I remember being in a line in grade school and
getting a vaccine on a sugar cube. Was that
the polio one?

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Libra

You've been quite a gadabout in recent weeks, but as the Sun enters Capricorn at the Solstice, you start to yearn for the comforts of home. You might even be tempted to cancel some forthcoming social events, so you can flop on your sofa and catch your breath. Sentimental thoughts could steal over you in coming weeks, making you think about some of the people you used to know and love.
