Why does it matter? The law changes, if they happen, will occur at the Federal level. If he's smart, he won't say a word so people will not thrash him on here.

There are currently 350 sheriffs that have already spoken against the big gun grab! You think he should hide from his constituents that hired him? I have a signed letter from our senator Dan Coats sitting in front of me right now that states his opinion on the matter Id be happy to show you, but you sound like you already know alot about it, but if ur curious Ill write it out for ya..

Not trying to be a smart ass here, but why would Obama be pushing the congress to pass a federal mandate on assult rifle ban, limitation of ammo purchases, or magazine size limits if he was just going to allow the states to do whatever they want? I am not like the mayor so i don't know everything. I don't doubt you have a letter stating Mr. Coats position, but I would bet the budget of Frankfort and Clinton County too that that national gun control law will be in place by the end of this year. And when that happens,there will be several million pi$$ed off voters (including myself) that will be looking out for me and my gun owning friends.

Well no matter what obama wants to divide and conquer us. Last I knew nothing made it to the floor in congress.. And I apologize for name calling, because thats the plan of the people im learning to hate... All i know is the constitution has to be followed to chain him down or else we will be chained down...

Supposed to be tougher? what does that even mean? We still have the rights guaranteed by the constitution.. Do you know that the dhs bought 2 million dollars worth of paper targets of people that look like you and me ... women, children, elderly, look it up they are called "no hesitation targets" its in the federal registry just like the dhs has bought over 2 billion bullets in the last year! thats enough bullets to fight a war for 24 years if u use the rate of the highest usage during Iraqi freedom... WHY! open your eyes! thats why they want our guns...

You are correct these laws he is trying to pass will only effect the commonwealths. I have noticed the media showing all the gun deaths from gangs in order to further their adjenda. At election time we need to find out who is against Obummer and his anti gun constituents and do everything we can to get them elected.
