Is it a violation of something to use a generator

I think the township needs to give Cindy the power to enforce. As for the Db meter, the only qualifying a person needs is to know how to turn it on.
You know as well as I do, a LOT of people around here can't even figure that out.
You neighbor should have the courtesy to build something around his generator to keep the level noise down. Just remember, what goes around comes around.
You know if the people around here voted to name Kincheloe a town then we could enforce polices but there are people OUTSIDE of this community that don't want that to happen.

When people are ticketed for noise violation, they usually ticket the person for a violation of state law, of which our local police dept can do. but your limited on everything you ticket someone for since if the person challenges it, who will prosecute it? most of the time the county prosectuter will not over a ordinance.

Why can't the neighbors get together and find a peaceful resolution.

Our local police is a joke. We had a child attacked by a dog, with several eye witnesses.
When the FINE local police showed up they didn't take any report and left it at that. We found out later that no report was done because it was all hear-say.
Did you also know that if a dog comes into your yard, you can't protect your kids. You have to wait and let the dog attack your kids and then you can protect them. I was told that by our FINE police department.

If a dog comes into my yard and poses a immdieate threat to mykids, myself, or my property. It is getting shot. Period. now loose dogs run all the time, and i have never had to do that. but not saying that i will not. There have been close calls, a few weeks ago i was comming home from work late, about 11pm, i stepped out of my vehicle and a dog ran up to me growling, I just reacted and kicked the dog away. I haven't seen it since.
