To the Williams family Im sorry for what happend to your wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandchild and friend. Our hearts go out to you, be strong and we will pray for you. I just wish people could stop drinking and driving so they won't hurt innocent people and their families. I just wonder how Milroy Vanderver's wife and kids feel knowing that he killed an innocent person and how it changed people's lives. I wonder how he feels knowing what he did. It makes me sick to my stomach. Could this have been prevented? Who Knows? Was he charged for drinking and driving before? We shall see what happens next.

Hey, Phoenix
I think you should keep your opinions to yourself because what you're doing now is called 'gossip'. Gossip is a thing that people do who don't have better things to do with their life! I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself about Milroy because those are just accusations you just spoke of. So, please...give up 'gossiping'. It was an unfortunate situation.
Our prayers are with both of the families.

It was bound to happen knowing that Milroy Vandever killed someone. I always use to see or hear stories of him drinking and fighting with his wife because he was drinking. I told myself one day he could hurt someone. Unfortunately he did. but all and all I hope he learned from this, our hearts go out to Vivian and her family and god bless them in everyway. Im just shocked at what happend.

this effects everyone. so just dont assume you know everything. things happen everyday and its people that judge and accuse that make it even harder on the families.

Sounds like you are a relative or freind of the family? The way you responded to the comments. Yes I don't know everything, it's idiots like this clown (Milroy Vanderver) who choose to drink and not give a care in the world for what he did. He should get the maximum penalty for this. If you defend him fine that's your choice and if support drunk driving? what an idiot you are.

I have done my homework! This is not gossip. He was intoxicated! He killed her and just kept going! This not his first DUI nor the first time he left the scene of an accident! My heart goes out to Vivan's family and friends.

I have to agree with the comments made by Phoenix and Kyniska. He ran her over and kept going and it was'nt his first DWI, and he did a hit and run before. I'v known Milroy back in elementry thru High school. I never thought he'd do this. Still can't believe what happend, I wonder if Phoenix was a classmate too? I pray for Vivian's family and freinds. I hope my then freind understands what he did.

First of all, Cochise...this was a reply to Phoenix. His or her comment was that she knew the actions of Milroy and his family. I'm sure he knows what he has done and his family is shocked. As far as I know, he was a loving husband, father, brother and in-law. I just think that Phoenix, should stop gossiping and starting rumors about the man's family life. Sorry, if you felt that this was directed at you. Next time...read the reply correctly.

Phoenix made a comment about Milroy's family and what type of person he was. I was letting Phoenix know that what he or she posted about his family life is called 'gossip' and untrue. I wasn't referring to the incident. If he or she knew that he was bound to hurt someone then why didn't he or she step up and get him help. That's the thing with some people. If they see a problem, they turn the other cheek. Yes, he made a horrible choice to drink and drive.

does it really matter if i am a family member or friend? no it doesnt. you know people make mistakes all the time. im sure you've made a few in your life. there's no need for name calling. im sure you drove drunk or was with somebody who was one time or another. People out there commit horrible crimes than this and you think he should get the maximum penalty? put yourself in this situation. hopefully you'll have more sympathy but i highly DOUBT IT!

I won't be in that situation because he I for one don't drink. And sympathy for a drunk? Why don't you say that to Vivian's family and see what kind of answer you get from them? And another thing you think we should have helped him? If we did he would'nt have let us help him because he is use to drinking. Any how, You Are Gossiping! And I don't Gossip. So that's all I have to say about that.

i think that you should refrain from expressing your opinions and thoughts. The reason I say this is because you're confusing yourself with other people's replies. Just a thought. That's all I have to say about that

To the person from Santa Fe, I think you should stop gossiping. We clearly know what and who Milroy is, and me drinking and driving? That would be the day, even the smell of liquer gets me sick. Stop being a drama person.

I can tell you this I have NEVER driven DRUNK. As an adult I have NEVER allowed ANYONE to drive drunk. I have taken keys away and called the police on people/friends for driving drunk.
I have made mistakes in my life but I have NEVER had an "OOOPPPS, dang I ran someone over" moment. this is idiotic to defend his actions.
