"McMansions, for the most part, are out," said Rick Herman, chief executive of Rochester Home Builders Association.

That is just his opinion, the real reason is that the builders want a ton mpore money for what you want in a house that used to be a basic type house. Now they wanna capialize on the home buyer and charge them more money for all the extra's they used to toss in for free before because they are going broke trying to get people to buy their crummy shoddy built structurs that cost them more than the usual price for the building inspectors to look the other way as they used to do.. Buy a prefab home and enjoy it, the days of a stick built home have been long gone for years!!
