High school protest hits the street

the protest at south lyon high was absolutly stupid and useless. it made zero sense. half the kids that protested did it to get out of class. i was there all day looking at my fellow classmates in disgust. it was pitiful and a waste of time and effort. "people who stood up for what is right" were the people that did not participate in this wrongful act. the kids that participated needed to really think about why we had school that day, and if it was to cold: wear a freaking coat! sometimes i wonder if that school has any sense at all.
