The human race can not live forever on earth alone. The only possible scenario for life everlasting would be to spread out throughout the cosmos.
I would put an end to war, religionn, and all things that take energy. Then I would use that energy for survival and finding a way to move off earth into the cosmos.
Is this possible? Is it true? Can it be doe? How else would it be possible for the human race to live forever?

I believe he was going for extinction.

It is a fact that over 99% of every species that ever lived are now extinct.

So you would except that as the future for us? I don't believe that any of those spieces had the ability to change their envirment as we do, did they?
Having this ability and doing nothing about is would leave us in the same place as any other spicies so therefore we actually are not better, special or above any other creature that lived acording to you.

If you wish to argue spelling I'll be happy to do so but in the mean time until you stop making those statements I will leave my spelling as you see it here.

I will discuss spelling in a different post, not here.

Yes, humans will become extinct. I don't agree These animals did change the environment. The animals did not know they were changing the environment.

Why except extinction if we have the ability to overcome it?
That is a defeatist attitude. All we have to do is believe in something and unlike all other species we can do something about it.
I don't follow a religion any more so I can't use that as an argument for why we have this ability but the truth is we do. How far out in reality is it to come up with a way to destroy the entire planet? Go to the Moon? and so many other things that humans have done.
Therefore I don't think I am not being ridiculous in believing that mankind could physically move out into the Cosmos and spread (like a disease:):)) onto enough planets that we could assure our existence far into the future. Then in time meet the goal of physically living forever.

I like the thought don't you?

I believe Steven Hawking has already addressed this issue, count yourself among the geniuses for your train of thought.

OK, if you are thinking this is a silly subject I won't disagree with you.
What I want to do is get some of the people with an advanced character to discuss something that is positive in nature rather than the destructive arguments that seem to be what people like the best.
If someone can come up with a subject, such as this one I posted, where we can advance on each others ideas it is possible that we could come up with something viable, useful in some way, productive, somewhat like a THINK TANK.

By starting right here on earth with the things that would have to happen in order to reach a final goal of everlasting life for the human race we would have to discuss how to divert energy toward that cause. This alone is a great discussion.

If my idea is no good, what are some of your ideas? Or does everyone find the whole thing boring?

I do believe humans are the first animal to have the knowledge to stop our own extinction. Question is will we.There is a lot of money being spent to convince people that global warming is not happening or is not man made.In the mean time the earths oceans are turning to acid.

In the United States we have 58% of white Evangelicals believing we are living in the end times. Hell bent on self fulfilling end time prophecy. IE President George Bush believed god told him to attack Afghanistan and Iraq.

Millions of Americans believe that Christ will not come again until Israel wipes out its competitors and there is widespread war in the Middle East. Some of these folks want to start a huge fire of war and death and destruction, so that Jesus comes quickly.

So what about my post? Have you any ideas that might fit the bill?
