Trial begins for man accused of killing code officer during apartment inspection

Prosecutors say a man accused of killing a code enforcement officer during a routine apartment inspection in Aurora was seen running from the building with a gun, but the man's attorney says it's a case of mistaken identity.

I am glad to see that justice was served. Glad to see that there was no plee bargaining going on, and that the jurors and court did not let this sad excuse of a person get away with terrible crime. I comment all the individuals that were involved from the start to finish with all that they did. I hope that the courts will keep this person in the cage where he belongs.
