just moved here????

so me and my family just recently moved here! Like it so far but would love to know about things that go on. how can i find out things and is this a good place to live? Also would like to know about the schools.

[Missing Harrison]

Harrison is a wonderful place to live! The crime rates are low and the schools are fantastic. While there may not be much to do in Harrison itself, you aren't very far away from many entertainment opportunities in the surrounding communities such as Colerain, Springdale, Cincinnati.

You probably already know, but the area is great. The schools are really good also. My children go to the Franklin County school district and I can't say enough about the school it is wonderful along with the teachers. The area is quite but there is the lake. Not a fast paced town. Entertainment isn't that far 30 to 40 miles which is not bad. Good luck!

Is the Entertainment really 30-40 miles away? I think that seems far coming from Indianapolis. Is there nothing to do in Harrison at all? What do the locals do? Does everyone travel? Ive driven thru and it seems to have some bigger stores so it seems there would people somewhere.

Is there any homes for rent in Harrison? I havent come across too many apartments and am not looking to buy right away.

I just purchased a home in harrison to live closer to work in Cinc, Im finding it hard to meet friends here. Im not a hang out in the bar every night kind of girl so Im wondering where to make friends.

I like art, parks and wine lol. I like watching sports..not so coordinated for playing though.

Well.. Harrison has some good places to do these things. Maybe you can meet some new people and have some fun at these type of places.

Playing is more fun than watching.

Harrison is a very corrupt place to live. I have lived there all of my life. The cops there are very corrupted and the scholls have went downhill BAD. The place is a terrible place to live all they do there is harass people and they have taken everything away for kids. Screw that town. I am sorry to be the one to inform you ,but you have made a mistake. BIG ONE at that.

Yes Im sure playing is much more fun than watching..I have little skill lol. I like playing pool, cards, live music....lots of hobbies. Love car shows. There was almost a car show at McDonalds this weekend. Is that the biggest one they have around here?

I think they do have car shows in the old part of town here and there. What kind of cars are you into? I love pool, there are some pretty good halls to play in that are close by. Cincy has some great music venues as well.

Anything classic...I grew up at car shows. 66 Mustangs are my favorite, my family has lots of show cars-a couple of 76 Hornets, a 67 or 68 Nova and a few others. Where do you play pool here?

All good cars. Well a few good places to play are western bowl (western hills) and Mikes Pool Hall on rout 4

wondering....You can play pool at michelles bar and grill. Located beside burger king.It's a nice enviroment.mello during the week.
