Upstate Man's Plane Missing In Guyana

An Upstate pilot and two other men are missing after their plane disappeared on a surveying flight in South America.

The Government of Guyana and local and foreign private institutions are working around the clock conducting search and rescue operations for the missing crew and aircraft.

There was report from the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority,that the missing aircraft is found.The aircraft was chartered to do the Geophysical survey for a Canada Uranium company,which went missing in the mountainous Mazaruni region.

At this point of time the aircraft has not been found. Search parties are still working around the clock to locate the missing aircraft and personnel.

The GDF special force teams have been scanning the area thoroughly by foot up to late last night in an attempt to find the aircraft and its passengers. Also helping them are other light aircraft taking high resolution pictures along with Two Beechcraft aircraft equipped with heat sensing cameras but still no avail. The search troops are continuing to search.

First of all it is a small aircraft and secondly the jungle is very dense.The search party is continuing and will not stop until there is a pollible lead of results.I hope this aircraft and the passengers are found soon.

The air craft hasn’t yet to be found, the GDF has been working round the clock to locate the passengers and the air craft…
