The real reason why nothing is built yet is because Marion Benson has stonewalled all the projects to push her own tri-town ghetto through. She is known for that in Lunenburg, and then she has the nerve to speak as if she's concerned. HA!!

Stonewall Benson needs to go so Lunenburg can thrive!! The current Admin are dragging the town down, and no business in their right mind would care to do business with such unprofessional people.
Lunenburg has made their own bed, now they can lie in it.Good luck!!! You'll be the next town shutting down schools...because everyone is MOVING OUT!!!

Wow, at least Fitchburg never needs to worry bout 40B projects like Lunenburg does. There's no lack of affordable housing here.

The sign at Tri-Town says that it is opening soon, so why does it say in the article that construction is going to begin in the spring?

Sign o' the times is Over 55 Rentals. Everyone jumped on the condo train and it has derailed. All those plans should be changed to "elderly" rentals. Good tenants - and if the only way to get them is restrict to "mature" people - are not looking to buy - just live in a great place. Wish we had some in Fitchburg, that weren't also for druggies and losers that unfortunately qualify as "disabled". I see what Bovenzi is doing in Leominster and wish he or SOMEONE would bring it to Fitchburg... a high-end (if you have to call it that) rental community is needed and wanted.

Stonewalling other projects won't help Tri-Town be completed any faster. Repeatedly calling the Tri-Town project a ghetto does not make it so. I'm a Lunenburg resident and am very happy to stay here, and if you are a resident as well, I doubt that you are going anywhere either.

Your comment doesn't make any sense. It's not about it getting done faster. I know you work for the town, but that doesn't make you right. Marion Benson is stonewalling projects, and the town will pay for that in the long run when there is no income coming in. Also, you have no place to doubt anyone. If you are happy to stay in Lunenburg...have a nice life. People with higher expectations are moving elsewhere.

Is the Drive-In going to open this spring? Their sign says it will. Why does the article say otherwise?

Are you moving elsewhere or do you have low expectations?

I was saying that stonewalling some projects has no positive effect on others.
