Stop with your excuses already... I managed a petstore for years and we (me and one employee) managed not only to have healthy happy pupies... that acted like puppies... but we also managed to keep our cages clean without dried up poop on toys and cages... no drama here... only fact... YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN... bottom line and I am not the only customer that has seen this so do what you will... truth is truth.... so instead of defending your employees that are more interested in socializing as teens do... which is fine... clean up your act or I promise if I see anything else that aims towards neglect of the puppies at your store... I will do whatever I can to have you shut down... so do your job and that way noone has anything to say! See "SIMPLE!"

Debbenoonan, then instead of taking pictures and being over dramatic, TELL an employee, its kind of hard to clean every single puppies cage up the moment it goes to the bathroom, help us help them. Its not due to us not caring, its a lot of work on our shoulders man.

Theres no excuses here bro. I KNOW the pups at my store, are as best taken care of as humanly possible. I dont need to defend myself.

We do not have Debbies in our state, but other pet stores. People who make negative comments need to do research on pet stores in general. Maybe work in one for awhile to see what goes on. The experience would make you a little wiser before you made judgments just walking into the stores. You need to take a good look in even some private homes where dogs are supposedly taken good care of. There are places of all kinds and the animals could use help. Most people who purchase puppies do not realize the work you need to put into this puppy to make him a good dog. You also need to remember that the puppy is like a baby and needs shots, and visits when it gets sick and also needs your care till he dies. It is a major responsibility. Why are there so many puppies in pounds. Because you are all too stupid to do homework before getting a animal.

I bought a golden retriever from Debby's (I named him Jack) & he is the happiest, healthiest dog I have ever seen. I have brought him to the vet several times for routine shots & there is nothing wrong with him. Maybe you people should know how to pick out dogs before you go & buy them.

Just to weigh in: while walking around The Mall of NH in Manchester today,I noticed that the Debby's Petland store had been vacated.According to a cashier at an adjacent store, the store closed down at close of business on Thursday evening. While I am sorry for the store employees who have lost their jobs in this tough economy,I am nowhere near sorry that the store shut down.As a dog owner, the idea that the owners of this store chain brought in even one dog from a puppy mill is sickening. At minimum it is a de facto endorsement of puppy mills. To all of you who have posted on this forum:please do everything you can within the law to help put puppy mills out of business.Thanks.

I looked in this shop whilst visiting family. I can not get the poor dogs out of my mind, I told one of the assistants that they had no water and they just shrugged their shoulders, it is disgusting and would never be allowed here in the uk. So sad, ruined my trip to America.....

Debbie's Petland. Our puppy is sickly also. Don't know what to do as far as paying vet bills, but the kids absolutely adore her.
Can say one thing though, will never purchase so much as pig ear from a "Pet Store" again!
I was just wondering was your dog a golden we just had to put our dog down yesterday from kidney failure.
My vet feels like he was born with this problem

We bought two dogs at Debs in the Kingston mall-3yrs ago A german shepard and a morky. They have both been wonderful, healthy (haven't had a health issue with either one) and got their paperwork- all breeder info and registration papers.
Not all experiences are bad.
