Folks! For the last 1 year or so there has been a rub down shop opened in Bridgeville. Please report this to the authorities and tell them you do not want this here. It has a back alley entrance and surveillance cameras. Everyone knows what goes on there and the good citizens of this Boro should rise up and demand better.

SPA 88 is right around the corner from where I work. Its in the heart of Bridgeville, just hidden with a back door entrance only. It is undoubtedly a rub-down shop. The cops are aware, and working on a bust. It's a shame that it's existed for this long. The Bridgeville police need to get their shit in order! This creates a nasty persona for Bridgeville.

What are the surveillance cameras for? Are they the 88 spas or authorities trying to catch them? Would love it stopped also.

88 Spa has cameras in place to see if it is the cops or a customer coming in. You have to be let in and cannot just enter the establishment. There are two outside and they have one inside also. Horrible to have to put up with this.

LOL...You saw a camera inside too. How did you manage that unless you went in for a little rub and tug yourself. You can't have it both ways people. Everyon thins woman should have the right to make choices regarding her own body so if a guy wants to go in and get his knob swabbed that should be his right also.

Bucky,

I am a man and am married - so your theory is wrong. I work close by and the amount of shady characters in and out make me nervous for all the staff when they encounter these folks in the back ally.

Scott,
You can go inside the first door and go to another business so that is how we know there are also cameras inside. Statistics show that most women working in these settings are doing so via forced circumstances - so it helps no one except the owner get rich on tax free dollars while enslaving others.

Bucky....you must be nasty yourself since you have to pay for these services. A decent looking man would easily be able to get them for free.

Good news. The police raided the place today with the FBI and cleared it out. Confirmed our worst fears that human trafficking was taking place and young females were forced to live there and forced into prostitution. Good job Bridgeville Boro Police. The businesses and citizens thank you for the hard work. The Police even made a stop at all the local business establishments to give everyone an update. Now it will be interesting to see what the South Fayette Tax Collector has to say since he owns the building. Had to know right?

Confirmed our worse fears... I heard all three women arrested we're between 50 and 60. I am glad you are happy that its closed but I don't get the big deal. Has crime risen since this operation had opened? The shady element... I bet you a million dollars that the costumers aren't criminals, just lonely and socially deemed unattractive men. One person in this thread mentioned they we're married as if that makes them a better person. I am truly happy for those of you who are married or are in great relationships. But there are a lot of people who are not and it just won't happen to because they maybe lack the good looks or social skills it takes to make it in society. Also, you know these women, in this case, are not forced into it. They also probably do it for the the "tax Free" money. The "tax free" money is the only argument here. I understand that. But lets sound like adults here and stop hiding behind this fantasy moral playground and say what we are really against. Because someone like me who just stumbled upon this thread, will interpret the following 1.) persons whom get married are superior to those who don't 2.) it is ok to lie in order to get what you want and destroy what you think is wrong 3.) All unattractive and lonely men should be removed from society, and it's their fault for being ugly so they shouldn't enjoy pleasure anyways. 4.) I could go on and on.... but someone should take a survey. But thats America these days. Blame everything else but the person who is wrong. A husband goes to one of these rub n tugs... we don'y blame the husband, we blame the rub n tug for existing as if, if it wasn't there, he wouldn't of gone. Someone shoots a bunch of people, we blame the availability of guns, the music, the violence in movies... as if, if it wasn't there, he wouldn't have done it. People will always find a way to fulfill their desires, mark my words.

I have one of these rub down places in my area and could care less what goes on there. As long as it stays behind closed doors and no one is getting hurt, I don't see an issue with it. In terms of shady characters, you'd be surprised how many business professionals, doctors, lawyers, politicians (guys wearing suits and ties and driving expensive cars) that I see go in there. Most are probably not getting any excitement at home and are looking for a quick pleasure before returning to the daily grind. Its easier and more discreet to pay for this entertainment from someone you don't know then it is to wine and dine another woman and get wrapped up in an affair. Sexual need is a natural thing, no matter if you pay for it or not, you will seek it out. If you have no desire for it, better get yourself checked out. Just make sure the doctor washes his hands before the exam. You don't know where he was earlier.

I am appalled at the people on this thread defending this trash. First of all in case some of you missed it THERE WAS HUMAN TRAFFIKING. They were HELD against their will. Second "Reality Check" I only have this to say:

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Ms. Enlightened can you post the news story that says there was human trafficking. Because everything I have read says the 3 60 year olds we're arrested and were described as Korean American. American means citizen. Human Traffic-ing may be a problem in the world but that was not going on here. I will stand corrected if you post a news story that says different. other than that you go join Fred Phelps.

Thanks for the link... But it does not prove that there was. I still see three 60 year old women given massage and extras. If this was truly a bust to find human traffic-ing, then this was a failure. Unfortunately, being a local news story, we are never gonna hear anything more about this except of course from the rambling opinions of our ultra religious waivers. New Argument... Is the building owner guilty. I know most of you say yes. What if he didn't know? should he still be punish. The only argument I see is "How could he have not know." Is there a man date for citizens to act socially responsible and be held accountable for ignorance. If you truly believe in this then we must go to every trailer park in Western Pennsylvania and make arrests. I mean if I own an apartment building, and some one gets murdered, raped, molested... I am I accountable simply because I own the building. This goes back to my previous point, which I hope Ellie Enlightened wasn't referring to when she deemed 'Insanely idiotic'... but the point is we need to hold those responsible for committing the crime, not those who unknowingly provide the windows. If a husband cheats on his wife by going to an Asian Massage Parlor... its the husbands fault not the business. If a business rents space from you and decides to conduct illegal activities, they are to blame. If a crazy kid runs in and shoots up a public area, he and solely he is to blame, you can't punish the parents, guns, or Marilyn Manson.

Thank you for your kind words but you have obviously missed the whole point to my "rambling and incoherent response". It was a response to Concerned Citizen's comment about "Shady characters" who make him nervous. As if the only ones who visit these places are low life street thugs who will harm him and others when they go in the back alley. Truth is, most of the clients are upscale professionals. And why? Because they have the money to waste. And what about some of our government officials who got caught in a prostitution scandal in another country last year? Those services were funded with your tax dollars. Bottom line, sex sells and someone who wants it bad enough will pay for it one way or another. You can't say its only a certain type of person who will pay for sex because it could be anybody and chances are, it would be someone you would never expect.

Tommy, I lived it for over a year. We saw all the "daily" customers come in and out. There were no professional business people coming in and out. Most were people I would prefer to not run into in the back ally as I was leaving work. What you did not see on TV is the other people they removed from there that were held against their will and forced to "work" as the three ladies arrested were the ring leaders. There was a reason that ICE was involved. There are things we will never hear on the news but since we had to live through it there are things we may know that you do not. My comments are based on observation between 7AM and 8PM at night, maybe there were "upstanding" citizens coming in after hours but what I saw on a daily basis is what I consider shady characters. Opinions are like assholes, we all have one and not one of us thinks theirs stinks. You have yours, I have mine and I think mine is based a little more on fact of evidence since I had to see it everyday for over a year. I hope they move next door to you and then you can deal with it. We are glad to see it go and some innocent people were freed from their hell. Thanks to the Boro police and other agencies for all they have done to help keep Bridgeville a better place.
