The LFTR program is moving long nicely, thank you, propelled by businesses that understand that both renewables AND Natural Gas is a flash in the pan. No government subsidy here, unlike the massive subsidies that the unreliables need to make any money.
Thanks for asking.:P
Funny !!! Yes it's moving along in your dreams. Private money has a poor record when it comes to nuclear power of any kind due to liability risk involved. But keep dreaming........

This is totally false. It is private money that provides ALL nuclear power funding. There is no "liability issue". The Price-Anderson Act makes each plant liable for a large amount, and the industry liable for an amount so large it has never been exceeded. If t ever DOES get exceeded, improbable since plants keep getting safer all the time, the industry is liable for that too unless congress decides otherwise (unlikely). So what is the issue?

The liability ploy is a standard mis-information tactic used by those fossil fuel tools known as anti-nukes.

Where is all that "private" money you speak of ?? Investing in nuclear has never been a good idea for the private sector unless you are a risk taker or nuts.

Tell that to the folks that invested in the recent 5 nuclear plants in the US and the several dozens going in around the world.
