I think the police of bridgeport need to reinvesticate against connie. she is going to get screwed because this is the first murder in 50 years and she was the womans room mate. not only that but how many police stations are actually closed. none that i know of. the victims familys are important but what about the accussed family. we deserve to know what is going on with connie and where she is.

My name is Brenda Baughman and my husband is Norma Sine's natural brother. My husband (George Baughman) has traveled to Bridgeport this very day in hopes of finding answers to exactly what happened to his older sister. Norma has three (3) living siblings and they are as follows: George Baughman of Circleville, Ohio; Vanessa Brown of Waverly, Ohio; and Cheri Melvin Of Alabama. She was preceded in death by two (2) other siblings, namely: Truman Edward Baughman and Clifford Baughman. Norma was a good-hearted woman and what this woman did to her will not go unpunished. In the end, it will be God whom will judge this woman who took Norma's life. If you happen to meet my husband (Norma's brother) please treat him with compassion and show him the true meaning of small-town hospitality. Thank you for those of you who were a true friend of Norma. Sincerely, Brenda S. Baughman

My heart felt sympathies go out to Norma's family and friends. I also belong to the neopets wicked actors guild and she will be sorely missed. Norma, (crumpkins as she was known in our guild.), did a wonderful thing for us in building the guild and helping from the background. And being the kind of wonderful person she was she wanted no recognition for doing it. I, personally, would like to let the family know that we really liked Norma and she was a good friend. So you see dear people, she had a lot more friends, all over the world, not just where she lived. I hope GOD, in his mercy, eases your pain and loss and makes it a little easier for you, all, to deal with this.

Firstly i would like to pass on my sincere condolences to Norma's family and close friends, my thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

To take someone's life is the worst thing a person could ever do! To take a person's life when that person has shown you nothing but kindness and generosity when you are in need is sickening.

Norma was a kind and generous person, willing to help out those in need, and it was with this generosity that she paid with her life. Norma provided a warm and safe enviroment for Connie and her child, she asked for nothing in return, it wasnt in her nature.

Although i live in the UK, miles and miles away, i spoke to Norma through the internet. She was a warm and generous person with a wicked sense of humour, which is probably why we got along. But it was to be one of her best traits that failed her in the end.

How someone, having been shown kindness, can turn and murder another for less than $1000 is beyond any sense of reason. Not only was Norma brutally murdered she was then hidden within the confines of her house whilst her assailant carried on a normal life around her with her son. If her landlord hadnt grown suspicious how long would this farce have continued.

I truly hope that Norma's family will be given the justice that they deserve, and that Connie will pay for her senseless crime against a person with such a warm and good heart.

I think Connie should get as much time as possible for her senseless acts...not only am i normas(nonblood)neice i was very fond of connie...i would sit down and have conversations with her at norma's house...i thought she was a very nice lady...not anymore....the only place i believe connie belongs is in prison to rot for the rest of her life....R.I.P NORMA J SINES WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

I worked with Norma for several years in a factory in Ohio. She was a kind and warm hearted woman who would give you any thing you asked for. Norma was a blast to work with and we would all get silly singing with the radio during our shift. Things were not always easy for Norma, but she never lost her sense of humor. She loved animals especially dogs and horses and Native-American art. I just wanted any one who reads this to know Norma is a person not just a news headline. She had people who cared about her, if she touched your life you would never forget her. She was not a saint or perfect, but she was a peson who deserved so much better than what she was given. This was a senseless and hateful crime. All of her friends in Ohio are stunned and deeply saddened to see something so awful happen to such a good person. No mercy should be given to the evil person who did this to her and we can all pray to God that her son will be able to grow up as a productive member of society now that he has been taken from the sicko that gave birth to him! Mrs Baughman, I am so truly sorry for your loss. God bless your family.

You people are so bogus.
There were very serious problems with Norma Sines. She was threatening both Connie and her kid, and was very very mean to the kid.
She was also getting paid under the table at a job while she was collecting social security disability. That's FRAUD in case no one gets it. In other words, YOUR tax money was paying her way.
There were people who wouldn't go near Norma Sines, and not just because she was rude and impertinent (regardless of what her email buddies might think--you can be anybody you want to be on line), but because she smelled less than pleasant.
Not something necessarily to hold against anyone, but just another factor in this "fine upstanding citizen" she's being made out to be.
And the Bridgeport cops are a bunch of incompetent boobs.

Y.F,
As I read your recent post to this forum (Yvonne), I had to wonder if and/or where you received your education. To turn something so tragic as a MURDER into a he-said/she-said mockery, is beyond words. The fact still remains; A woman was BRUTALLY MURDERED in her OWN HOME, by the very person she permitted to live with her, out of the goodness of her heart. Shame on you for making such statements regarding a deceased human being. Brenda Baughman (Norma's sister-in-law)

I'm completely unclear on how you took my post to be a "he-said/she-said." Believe me when I tell you this is not second-hand information.
"Mockery"? Also unclear.
Brutal murder, yes. Own home, yes. Tragedy, yes.
Lots of things not being told: Also, sadly, yes.
You only know one side. There are a lot of people who knew, and know, the other side; they're just not here waxing loquacious about it. Please don't get me wrong. NOTHING justifies murder. But SOMETHING drove someone to do it, and a few hundred dollars wasn't it.
There needs to be more coverage on this.

my name is Cathy and I knew Norma very well and was happy to be her friend. When Norma moved to IL from Ohio she lived with me and my family for a year or more. Norma was in no way perfect but she wasn't evil either. She did not deserve what Connie did to her and I have friends that were around Connie and Norma alot and they do not tell the same story that Yvonne is telling they say it differently but i will give them this site and let them post for themselves what they seen and who mistreated who adn who threatened who.. Norma felt sorry for the little boy AJ and let them move in so he would have warmth and food if AJ had not been in the picture Connie would have been on the streets when your mother shut off all the stuff at the house cause Connie would not pay the bills. But as I said I will let people who seen the way Connie treated Norma speak up and tell you what they seen.

MURDERED of Norma is bad but what if Norma killed her
Cathy you say you were Norma's friend but you were never around.

I seen Cathy's son go over to Norma's all the time a lot of times mad.

I am not saying her son was involed but going over there mad all the time. The cops need to look at Cathy's family before they look at Connie

connie friend? where were you when connie was kicked to the curb by her own mother? saying or even thinking Norma killed herself? Fact hit several times in the head from behind Fact rolled in a rug stuffed in a closet with stuff on top of her Fact left seven days while Your friend Connie and son stayed in the house? Norma must have been good to have done all that to herself. Now I dont know about issues of Norma hygene or anthing else, I do know she died, she has family, and Connie had no right to take her life, and being her good friend as you are, you uphold anyone who would make her own son help her,,,where were you friend when she was kicked to the curb. did ya move her in with ya, maybe you'd be the dead one now instead of Norma.

i will not fight with you on a website but you must not know me at all i have 2 kids 1 boy and 1 girl call and ask Trent Masterson or Scott Murray they will tell you. and connie has confessed unless you do not read the papers then call a man named Jack who can tell you the interview she gave with him...so grow up and get a life evidentally you are a young child who doesn't know anything about me or my family.
