So all day, CT news channel 12 was reporting a 'store owner shot' in stratford, yet I can't find any coverage of it anywhere. Anyone know anything about it?

The report on the News 12 website says this:

STRATFORD - One man is recovering after a shooting in Stratford.

It happened early Saturday morning on Victory Street.

Police say the victim was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital where he is now in stable condition.

They have not yet released his name.

I don't know if its the same story or not though. Did you hear anything about a animal being loose on the Post Road in Fairfield saturday night?

Thank You. Yes, that is the story I was referring to- there is not one single website or news outlet other than Ch. 12 reporting it. I think they are under pressure to under-report crimes, especially in Bridgeport.
I didn't hear anything about the animal in Fairfield. Whats that about?

I'm not sure. I noticed a lot of police activity around McDonalds in the circle. By the time I made my way down, they were leaving and I asked the guy at the gas station what was going on and he told me that there was a small buffalo like animal running around. I never heard anything and they prob were messing with me, but it wouldn't be the first time livestock was loose in town.
