An alleged armed robber was shot in the left side of his body by the owner of a store he was trying to rob Tuesday night, police said.

Here we go... there are bad apples in every freaking town/city... not just Bridgeport. I happen to live here and for one don't appreciate a comment that is said as to murder me and my innocent family because you want to build a wall around us and set us on fire. I am a gun owner and I will do the same thing if someone is trying to come into my house. The comment about putting a fence around people I think it is a bad comment. There are criminals all over and it is to bad that things like this happen every where not only in Bridgeport. The store owner had all the rights to fire that gun what about if it was the other way around.
