Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. It’s a serious problem in the world today. You might know it as acid reflux. I know it as the painful heartburn I experience almost every damn day. I hate it so much. When it happens, I want to rip out my throat. I talked to a doctor friend I know and he told me it’ll go away if I stop eating spicy foods, tomatoes, and chocolate. Then he said I had to stop drinking coffee. I just about gut-punched him for saying that. If I took out coffee, tomatoes, spicy foods, and chocolate, I’d be starving every day. The good news is I don’t have to take his advice because he’s not really a doctor, he just knows a doctor. I guess that makes him a doctor’s friend friend, not a doctor friend.

Richard Miron donated tons of money from his monument company to his son's political campaign. That is where a lot of those poor folks' money went. I hate to tell everyone, but there are probably close to 6,000 knee-jerk Dems in Stratford who would vote for an axe murderer as long as he/she is on the Dem line on the ballot. With Best, Costello, Buda and probably O'Neill in the next race, Miron Jr. will waltz right in for a second term. Those of you who think that this latest news marks the end of the mayor should think again. Ain't happening. Stratford is doomed.

brush up on your stratford history and you will find that less than one third of the people that voted, cast their ballots for the village idiot.
sadly the sister, father and brother are part of the package--partially because a couple of them are on town payroll and also because their bad judgement effects the entire community, and quite frankly the community is sick of it. if you can show me one single thing this mayor has done that is positive for the town "on his own" or show me all the "money" he said he was gonna get from hartford which we have never seen, i and the rest of the community will probably die of shock. not one single thing has he come through with that benefits the entire community, though he has no problem disgracing the town. like if he just let his father step down and kept his mouth shut, all this crap probably would have died down. but nooooo he's over steps the bounds of his authority and creates greater humiliation to the town. to say daddy is innocent is a lie because by his own admission he kept the money of his customers while defaulting on providing them with the promised headstones. admission=guilt. he needs to get out of town hall permanently and stop screwing over the taxpayers/voters. and the villiage idiot needs to just be quiet for a change.

Again either Christian or Jimbo posts with my name. Do they realize people catch on? I guess not. My view on this is, if dick Miron feels he needs to complete his term he is on the same page as his son....... If both truly cared about Stratford then he would resign and the son who is Mayor would tell the people of Stratford that he is truly sorry for what is going on. I am glad I did not get my Dad's stone from him or else I would be in the same position as all the others. My only deep thought is that all those people get their stones. Father gets them in death and son gets them in life.

He has some serious issues and unless they are addressed he will end up in lots of trouble. What legal firm would hire him anyway? How many of you actually call your council people and give them your opinion. By the way I heard the other day that he spent mega money on a renovation of his office. Is this true?
