Life support is already being administered for the Healthcare bill in the Senate but to no avail. One of the top stories today on www.drudgereport.com is that the Senate may not be able to come through on healthcare. Blue Dog Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) is adamant that he will not let the healthcare legislation. Senator Lieberman fears the public option will hurt private healthcare in the long run. He is concerned about the new government spending the bill provides.

I think that people who are for this health care reform have truly analyzed it and do not understand it the full repercussions it will cause. They just see that people will be able to have health care and they throw their arms up with joy.

this "healthcare" plan will cost US taxpayers,$1.2 TRILLON (yes that's trilloin) over the next ten years.
all those that THINK you will be getting FREE health care are FOOLS.
there is nothing free,pay the insurance company or pay with higher taxes, either way WE are going to pay..
but not OUR politicians... they have their OWN health. even they won't particpate in this plan.

Totally agree with Sam, both are crooks. Dodd was Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee while receiving a sweetheart mortgage deal, and has no accountability for where all of the bailout money to the banks went. Lieberman is a joke who lost all credibilty a long time ago. Yet the joke is on us taxpayers, who continue to pay for their follies, even as they collect paychecks to protect "our interests". Something has to change.

If you people really read this bill, you would understand why Sen. Lieberman will not vote for it. Let's be frank here......the majority of people who speak out against the Senator really are not educated enough on the subject to make their opinion of him.

well said,they compare ups and fed ex to the us post office and WE know what a money maker the post office has been for all of us. imagine when the gov't goes into the health insuramnce business, and lets not leave out how they are going to manufacture autos also!!
