The biggest step that Bridgeport can take to improve their image is to blow up the whole city and start over again.

It is bedtime for Tippy and her fish and myself, and to all, a good night.

Hunt ghetto thugs to extinction, and have a work requirement for housing, welfare, and food stamps. That would help.

it has alwys been that way. the outof towners come to bridgeport to do their "dirty" business and then are shocked by the things that go on in bridgeport, yet they are a contributing factor in the problems.

Let's face it. As long as you have the low-income element, no jobs, irresponsible citizens and easy drugs, Bpt. will NEVER get any better. No matter how many casinos, arenas, concerts or stores the city tries to introduce, the bad elements are still there.

Whether or not out of towners come to purchase drugs or women is not going to affect the course of bridgeport. At all. Its an insignificant factor. If no one came to purchase, you'd still have thugs hanging out by the store, gangbangers doing their thing, 14 year olds getting pregnant, worthless schools, democrats in power, union people on the take, garbage everywhere, and unpaid bills.

Yep. That about sums it up for Bridgeport's future. It will not get any better than today.......and today is a really bad day.

you're right it is an insignificant factor.
but
it's the way the out of towners look down their nose that aggravates me. if you're part of the problem then don't "clutch the pearls" when talking about the city.

Bpt and I have a longstanding disagreement on the issue of whitey coming from the suburbs to buy. I know full well they do it- but I just think it has a miniscule effect. I don't believe it contributes significantly to what Bridgeport is. The personal decisions of bridgeporters, the culture, and the democraps are determining what bridgeport is.
