God, the drama!

Along those same lines, I think he would have been better off trying to jump the Snake Canyon River (Evel Knievel).

Picked up a rocket-powered sky cycle and " go for it."

Charge admission, make a lot of money, and donate it to a charity.

Suicide is a thing of beauty once you become embroiled in our legal labyrinth.

It is really a shame when you think how much all those lawyers made on this mess prior to his ending it. Oh well, lots of other slobs ready to go into court and take his place.

Shame on all of you, I am friends with a family who knows this family very well, He was very much in love with his x-wife. his sister raised him (I wont go into details about that) but for people like you to judge others who are suffering from depression you should be ashamed of your self. and I hope you or any of your family members dont ever have to suffer from this horrible disease yes it is a disease. as for the family and friends of David (may god be with you)

It's AMAZING how insensitive and STUPID people can be! I had a younger brother who committed suicide. It is one of the WORST things that can happen to a family! The FREAKIN federal government would do BETTER to chase and round up the illegal aliens running around free in this nation! 11 years for THAT?? You have murderers that don't even get that in BPT **** the feds!!!!

Why is it that this Micheal Mayko does not print the whole truth about this man. I thought that the news is suppose to tell the whole truth about a case. David wrote down the wrong coll.Yale instead of Quin. coll. on a app. why is it for Mayko did not report the truth and the US gov. convicted a person for wroung info after the fact. The US gov. should spend less money on helping its own people in this difficult time than worring about which coll somebody went to.I personnally blame the govt. and this reporter for David problem. He had emotional issues and other problems, which magnified because of this issue with the US govt. I would also like to clear up some other issues in these articles about David He did not have a gun as stated and how come they retrieved his cell phone but could not retrieve him.He did call all of his siblings 4 hours before hand and told them he didnt have a gun. Also how come Mayko ran this story with untruths and the family didnt even know? I think Mayko is in bed with the Govt. and Writes what they want him to. Ithought freedom of speach was to tell the truth not what the govt. says.A reporter should find out all the facts before printing them. The Conn. Post is becomming like tebloid rag not a paper which has a rep.For the people but for the govt.In closing I would like to tell Mayko try being aresponceable reporter than a half fast rumor monger.GET THE FACTS BEFORE PRINTING LIES.

I am the sister of David. David intervened in a
sexual harassment suit inside the Labor Dept. The
govt fired David and went on a vendetta against Dave. What people dont know is that the govt kept
David in a detention center where he was severely
abused and harassed. He was let out on 150,000 bail.
Rapists, murderers and child moletsters dont get that extreme amt of bail. David had extreme conditions imposed by the probation dept. as wearing a leg bracelet, he couldnt go anywhere but to an appt and was required to give 3 days notice before he could go to a per diem job.How
can you give 3 days notice to a per diem job? The
incompetent people at the probation dpt even tried
to revoke David's bond because he went to a court
hearing without calling the probation officer before he left his house. David had several degrees
from all over the world and even went to Quinnipiac law school instead of UCONN. He was
prosecuted for writing letters stating he was a
former compliance officer. He just had nearly completed his teaching cert from UCAL and was
looking forward to a teaching career but the
prosecutors office maliciously prosecuted him and
he forever lost any professional future. Im so
happy that the govt spent tens of thousands of dollars prosecuting this case and lets people with
money like Madoff, Bush's cronies and the ex Ill.
state gov free. This govt has surely run amok.

I am so sorry to David's family & other loved ones for this loss. Depression is not well handled or treated in our country obviously, but something tells me his family did everything they could and I bet he really appreciated that. I am also both sorry and grateful for the NPS rangers who tried to save him. Your family will be in many peoples' prayers and I hope that brings some comfort.-Maggie

Yosemite is open all year, but high country roads close to vehicles in winter & is used by snow shoers and cross-country skiers. The trail to the top of Yosemite Falls is accessible from Yosemite Valley, which is open all year including to vehicles.-Maggie

i still cant beleive he went through with it.i didnt know him that good but we talked about things.and he felt that if he was covicted of a felony his career and his life was over.jail time didnt matter to him, the felony charge did.i tried to tell him he could always get a pardon.i wish i had tons of cash, i would of hired the o.j. team of lawyers.these charges especially being felony were really bullshit.id like to meet an honest politian ,last i heard roland was making over 100 grand a year.i hope the feds are happy now. david never hurt anyone,he really was a good guy,and smarter than most people thought.im sure he is in a better place now.theirs too much hate in the family, hope this might change things, but im not gonna hold my breath.from someone that tried to break the ice. r.c.

david was like houdini in many ways.read his biography family members and you will know what i mean.he knows how to beat the system.which is so crooked in the first place.if he hired a better lawyer ,he would of got this whole felony charges dropped to nothing.david is sippin on a margarita somewhere, probably in another country, having an intelligent conversation with someone.either way he's in a better place.feel bad for his brothers and sisters, and his father, who is still alive, but not doing well.like they say, only the good die young,or disappear .the,"icebreaker"

this is for davids father and the bitch of a wife he married.i remember all so well after davids mother died and you met her and left the house when dave was just 14 and left his older sister who was just a kid herself to watch out for him.oh yea pops you would pay the bills and throw dave a few bucks for food but you chose her over your kids how many nights do you think he cried hisself to sleep?well you were off on you merry way she had kids but you never took david with you i hope now you can live with youself!!! i bet since he died that horrible death monday nite you haven't even shed a tear?? i bet you got your sleep.while a couple of your other kids are down in california now looking for answers.i pray to god not for you you bastard but for davids brothers and sisters they find his body and bring him home so they have closure.you don't even deserve to be at a memorial service if they have one for him.if i was one of your kids and you showed up i would spit in your face,,,i would never speak to you again even if you were on your death bed.now you have to live with yourself because you let your wife verbally and mentally abuse him till he left a month ago.both of you deserve each other.have fun burning in hell...
