Why should anyone trust him again.I think when a lawyer steals that he should not ever get his license back he was in a position of trust.

Does anyone know if this guy grew up in Weston? I went to high school with a Jeff Beck, and this guy is the right age.

By the way, notice the typo on the headline AGAIN?? Yet another screw-up by a reporter/editor.... If someone had told me 5 years ago that reporters and editors would get so bad that typos would appear in the headlines, I wouldn't have believed it. Now it's a daily occurrence!

And I though I was a bad speller. What is this crook going to do for a job? Go in Peace and Praise the LORD, Amen.

About time they caught up with another thief disguised as a lawyer. It really sucks that people put their trust in sleazebags like this guy and end up getting robbed. Suspend his license forever and maybe the other thieves will get the hint that they can't get away with screwing people forever.

Him and about 8 out of 10...I have very little respect for the legal field...Hope they start investigating a whole lot of those legalized gangsters called attorneys...It takes an act of God, pissing the wrong person off someone of power and connections,or crossing a person with big bucks enough to persue malpractice proceedings with fees upward to $300,000 and 3-5 years o court hearings...

Lawyers are the dregs of society, not all, but most of them are just shysters looking to make a fast buck and don't care how they go about it. I know somebody that this Beck scammed out of money.

You are so on mark...I myself went through severalthousands of $$$ as retainers for a completion of QUADRO for my divorce going on 14 years ago. 5 attorneys received no less than $5-8,000 each and every one of them backburnered my case which is still not completed. I have learned through my ordeal they answer to NO ONE..eff up and stall, lie cheat and steal..not all do but most do. I hired some of the best who were all flash and NO Action resulting in a substantial loss of hundreds of thousands due me per court decree...

Sure they stall the proceedings, that's how they keep their sticky fingers in your wallet. It's a downright disgrace how they suck money out of people, bunch of bullshitters that they are. I've been through it too.

Their Grievence process is a big joke too..I was told 95% of all greivences filed against those corrupt cruds are deemed unfounded...Who the hell has 20K retainer with 300K to blow on a crapshoop malpractice suit?..
THEY KNOW THEY CAN AND SO THEY DO

The hardest part would be finding a lawyer to bring suit against another lawyer, since most of them are in cahoots with each other! I guess the only recourse is the Bar Association, unless that means a group of lawyers at happy hour together.

Up where I live, several lawyers have gone to jail for blatant theft of funds. However, it is not true that most lawyers are crooks. Not even close, actually.

I have a relative in Ct going through a divorce and every-time she calls the lawyer another charge is added to her bill and the bastar- of a husband is getting away with not paying bills, not supporting the children and flaunting the system. It should not be a goldmine for the lawyers.

She has got to demand a hearing Lis Pendens..temporary releif pending final hearing...She must be aggressive, assertive with the attorney she retained..they know we are fragile during that time and they take full advantage. Believe it or not, I was docile, shy, and trusting. Going through much the same as your relative, wwith a horrible outcome was hearbreak, an eye opener. No atty is your advocate, you must be on top of their game. Know your rights...most atty's especially in divorce scenarios, take the "path of least resistance". I will pray for your relative and her children.
