I say what does it matter what a person does on his on time as long as he don't do drugs at work. Beaulieu is a tobacco free work place and has been for two years now and the only ones they are looking for is the smokers. What about the ones that dip, that's tobacco too and they sit in the break rooms with spit cups, think that's right.
in order to get my paycheck i am required to take a random blood test which i have no problem.what i do have a problem with is this. the distribution of my paid taxes to people who do not have to pass a drug test. i do not have a problem with helping people get back on thier feet. i do on the other hand have a problem with giving my money to people sitting on thier ass doing drugs, while i work!can u imagine how much money would be saved if people had to pass a drug test to get public assistance?

I have no complaints about Beaulieu. As others have stated, they put food on the table and provided decent benefits when jobs were not plentiful in the area. I could and did complain about alot of things that went on there but most were typical things that companies deal with and they did deal with it. I went to work, did my job, had the companies best interest in mind and stayed there until i resigned to move out of the state. I had good supervisors and worked with hardworking decent people. Times have changed that is for sure but I have also worked for a company, major news network and drug testing wasn't in their vocabulary, they wouldn't have the "creative people" working there for their cartoon network if they were drug tested. I feel the drug testing should have continued on a random basis, but they didn't ask me.

The last time they drug tested about 39 employees had to go. How can you run a plant if you keep firing your employees.

I keep hearing about drugs, drug testing, etc. NO.1 if you feel like your job is so bad quit. McDonalds is hiring and Burger King will let you have it your way. Drugs are everywhere including jail. I personally agree with drug testing for wellfare but at the sametime I feel like you should do your job and go home. People worry to much about the small stuff. Look it doesn't matter where you work or what you do drugs are there. But also those people that do them will get theres. Look at your own life if you can teel me you do know wrong i'll call you a liar.

When I worked at Beaulieu new employee's were drug tested, drug testing was done on a ramdom basic regularly as well. Many were terminated due to their drug testing results. They were given a chance at rehab, provided by the company. If tested positive ever again, they had no job. As standard procedure, of course they would test if one was injured on the job.
Spider Monkey, I have nothing to say about that. The voters put him in office, it is their responsibility to remove him. Yet they continue to let him run the show. Go figure that one!!

I blame it all on Spider Monkey. He was the maor and it all happened while he was the mayor, it is his fault. I can't stand him.

I would guess that everyone who is smart enough to read this blog knows someone in the B'port area who is still doing meth. Call the police station and turn them in. My guess is that the cops already know and it isn't time to bust them yet. Collecting data takes time. We didnt know the last bust was coming and we won't know when the next one is due. They know whats happening, who's doing it, and who's in charge now that Donnie isn't. Give them time...
your right the police already knows who thay are because mike gothard has already told them do you ever wonder how he stays out of jail he is there informer

he has to be he is the only one the feds didnt get.. hell we know bridgeport is going to bust anyone they havent made a bust since lee went to county he was the only one ttrying to clean up this town but he couldnt do it by hisself and the fact that other officers was fighting against him made it almost impossible as long as the police are working with the drugies and drug dealers we are going to have it here so either get used to it or get new officers and city council b/c they are all working together

I agree with you cause he had a lot to do with running Bealieu like he did the City. He had his hand in everything and told them how to run Beaulieu. He was running the Drug Cartel in Bridgeport too. Glad he aint the maor anymor. We are doing good now.
