there is a large reddish brown dog roaming Gilmer/Lake st area. I know that fences are down but the owner of this animal needs to chain it. He/she tears into trash and takes HUGE poops on everything!
Thank-you

Is that all you have is 1 stray? There is 5 yard dogs here in Quail Valley Addition that poops in my yard daily it seems. If i wanted poop in my yard I would get my own dog. The owners of these animals need to be a little more responsible and respectful. Im just outside the city limits but have contacted comm. Dubose who told me there was nothing I could do about it unless the dogs were a threat.

Wow! That is pathetic. If that dog is nice, I would collar it and go door to door. This is the nicest way I can say I would handle your situation. Good luck. I know they are busy but call the city, they might be able to help you.

Turn on White Oak (off Gilmer) Not sure of the house #, it is white brick with black trim, a few houses down on the right and should be a red chevy truck there. The dog roams free all the time, I believe it is a chow/golden retriever mix. He hasn't been in my yard but I do see him roaming and have seen his owner pick him up and take him home. I know fences are down but people need to be responsible with their pets, it's not so much the poop that ticks me off but seeing a dog needlessly suffering in the road after being hit by a vehicle. Good luck.
