The federal government needs to pass a law stating that if you are told to evacuate and you don't and then you have to be rescued later, you will PAY THE BILL for being rescued.

Why should tax payers have to pay to rescue these IDIOTS who were told to leave but didn't. When they call for help they should ask. "Will you be paying cash or do you want to put the cost of the rescue on a credit card".

Trust me, after it hits the news people have been sent a bill for their rescue, you will see more people leave when told.

right, like most of these people have any money to begin with....there may one day be a time and place for your ideas and judgments but with so much tragedy and fearful people facing such overwhelming loss and pain this is not it.

Gee, do you think had they evacuated like they were SUPPOSE to they would not have had to be rescued?

That's right, blame someone else for other people's stupidity. They chose to stay and they suffered the consequences.

I guess you are someone who would stay in your house if it was on fire even if EVERYONE was telling you to get out? Tell me the difference between that and people telling them to leave because of the danger they faced?
