i just lost my pawpaw to west nile! it is VERY serious! make sure you protect yourself, and your loved ones! he suffered exactly one month, then he passed away. when he was first omitted in the hospital they wrong diagnosed him several times.(stroke, parkinsons, seizures, and much much more) thats when my family decided to move him to methodist hospital in houston. they then diagnosed him with west nile encelphalitis. he went in a coma for 27 days! he was pronounced with severe brain damage. its crazy what a tiny mosquito can do to a human, one that is in great shape, never smoke or drank.. and walked 4 miles everyday!
his symptoms were: coma, very confused, dizziness, fever.
