I Left out of B.C. yesterday after 12 hours in an attic and watching the water rise to 4.5' in my house. It will be a long hard road for everyone because not a single structure, whether business or dwelling, was able to avoid the water that flowed in from the Gulf and Lake Sabine.

I hope there's some white house guys reading these thingies....what I'm seeing: this is nothing but cluster copulation between FEMA and Mayor Bill White. Apparently the job is much too big for both.
While they are arguing who is doing what...people in small burgs like Barber Hill and Baytown are going down the tubes. We need another ball busting Coast Gard guy down here like we had in Katrina to throw some scalding water on these two dogs who are locked up in confusions and ego. P.S. Tell Chertoff I don't need to know how GD bad it is...I was here. Instead of blowing a microphone he needs to start cracking some heads and get this thing moving.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
