I have been totally screwed and mislead by the Planet Beach Franchise. I am more than willingly to join in a civil lawsuit. They took me for more than $350,000, together we stand, divided we fall!!!!

Jack, I don't know who you are but I bet you would not tell me that to my face. I did work for corporate a few years ago. I saw a common trait among most of the people who failed, they were morons. I also saw people without a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out of get upset because they couldn't get a loan to open their business. I'm not a moron, I'm actually doing quite well. I'm sorry that you suck!! It's funny that I came across this tonight.

So how many of us are there? We've been screwed over also. It's been a number of years since we purchased a PB franchise. Found out they were lying to us. Tried to get our money back and forget it! Horrible company. I don't know how they sleep at night! Hopefully enough people read this and stop buying franchises from them.

So how many of us are there, who've been screwed over by Planet Beach??? We bought a Franchise quite a few years ago, found out they were lying to us. Wanted out money back and then the fun began. Horrible horrible company. If there's a lawsuit, count us in.

I've been screwed and I know 3 others. I'd like to see about a class action suit. Most people at corporate have known the CEO for years so it's a good ol' boy network. I'm working on gathering names and emails.

I worked at planet beach and the people they hire for management are the most unprofessional employees I have ever seen. While charging members for their month, the manager would slip in an extra $5 here, $20 there from peoples credit cards and say they are membership fees. Don't get a membership with planet beach unless you want a never ending headache

Oh she is getting direct orders from JP in corporate. They are using an excuse that the insurance policy limits the use for a person to 3 times a week. If that is the case, they should have never told me otherwise and made it clear under the "unlimited membership" description. If it were true that using a sauna mon-fri causes health risks then I would gladly use it only 3 times a week. If the hydro massage causes damage then yes I will limit my use to a daily 20 min vs the hour I now do. But where is the proof. JP will not furnish insurance documents. There is another customer here that uses heat machines everyday and is not limited to her use. I have that proof and her name alreadyat my attorney's office. This whole limiting situation started the same day as the Living Social promo went live. Oh and the associate here that is pushing for my limited use is Luz and it came after a discussion we had that same day the promo went out. Coincidence that both her parents were here waiting for me to finish so they can use services. Both parents we bothered by the wait. I come everyday at 9 am and the place is a ghost town. Hmmmmm. Very interesting. Luz also complained to clients that she wasn't getting paid for multiple hours that she worked every week and the owners response was "don't worry about your hours, sell more memberships". She was bad mouthing corporate, owner Jennifer and the two directors here Anisa and Bridget. Bridget is a master as customer service rep, sales person and managing a business. She is a walking gold mine. I wish I had a Bridget working for me back in NJ because I would've made a bundle of money and my firm would've grown tremendously. She is the only real manager/ business professional these locations have. In conclusion, I love the planet beach services but hate the sneaky tactics used to limit my use of them. So sad bc if it would've been presented in another way from the get go, I would have still signed up. It's the manipulating lies that have turned me against them.

On Novemeber 30, 2012 my contract expired from Planet Beach. Since I never seem to be able to get there I decided to cancel my membership. I went in on December 31, 2012 and paid for January becuase it say I have to give 30 days notice.And since I wanted my membership to end the end of January i went in the end of December to cancel. I also filled out a request to end membership. I am now told that that is not 30 days notice.???? That I will also have to pay for Febuary as well. That is 60 days. It clearly states on my contract 30 days notice. Please some one tell me what gives?

tell everyone you know, if on FACEBOOK, do it there. As a former owner they try to teach you to cheat people. Go to your local Attorney General, let them know. Not only they scam their customers, they scam their franchises..

I have been a PB member since 2012 and absolutely love it there. The owner, as well as the employees all treat me with kindness, respect, and professionalism. I have been tanning for over 25 years and this is by far the BEST and cleanest tanning facility out there. They run monthly specials, are always replacing the bulbs in the beds and have a large variety of tanning lotions, etc. to choose from. While I cannot speak for their spa services, my daughter does use the facial spa treatment and is getting wonderful results with it.

I am having the same problem!!! Planet beach sucks... What I have had to do it put a stop payment on them. They reverse it but stop payments only last for so long... so guess what SCREW YOU PLANET BEACH im closing my account. good luck getting the money anymore :)
